And Grand Floridian is gorgeous in this light. Shows how peaceful it was, that you could hear the train whistle. Great stuff V 😊
Hi there Mike! 😃 You imagined right, the air felt and smelled wonderful! I had a hard time getting out of bed but once I was on my way I was so happy! The sun just coming up made the most gorgeous light and the birds chirping all over the place… GF really is one of my favorite sunrise spots. 💜 Oh I just got in my dji action 4 camera that is waterproof and I got a neck lanyard and splash proof gimbal so this summer I’m ready for rainy days and the water parks! My goal is to wear the lanyard on some water slides… I love pool slides but am working my way up to real slides this summer! Volcano Bay is as gorgeous as Typhoon Lagoon so I might try it first this week. Wish me luck on actually getting on a big slide! 😂
When your camera is pointed toward the morning sun and everything in the foreground is silhouetted, it looks so surreal and magical. You had some really nice light angles on the buildings today. Your camera is amazing.
Hi there Buck! 😃 I didn’t use any filters today and I loved how it recorded the light and shadows. I wasn’t at all sure about it at the time but it was a lovely walk so I was happy, but when I got it on my ipad to upload I was impressed with how it actually turned out. I need to get a few more sunrises in before it gets too early for me to get there around this time.
Did you notice how the train whistle from clear across the lagoon was loud and clear on the video? Linda wasn't watching with me at the time but she knew I was watching. When she heard the whistle, she yelled from the kitchen, "Is Veronica filming from the train?" That's how clear it was. I'm sure the calm stillness of the morning contributed to that but your mic is pretty amazing too.
@buffalobuck15 I mentioned it at the time because I could not believe how loud and clear it was from across the water! I will be doing the train ride again though. 😉 I got the dji mic for both of my cameras (my new waterproof action 4 camera is dji also) but I haven’t used them yet because the internal mics are so good. I have bought so many external mic the past year just to end up with two cameras that don’t even need them. 😂 Oh and I have my mini umbrella rigged onto the splash proof gimbal so now rainy walks are going to be a breeze… I want it to rain so badly right now!

It’s worth getting there early to experience the quiet as the sun is rising and everyone is just starting to move around. I love sunsets but I need to catch some sunrises now because they won’t be happening this late again until around October… Spring and Fall are the best sunrise months for me. 😃

This one was a joy to film, there is nothing like that time of the morning with the sun just coming up over the horizon. The light is so gorgeous and everything is just starting to stir. Hi, I think I’ve seen that bird @4:36 in someone else’s video too as they were walking along from GF to the Magic kingdom walkway. His wings were open like that then too. I’m curious if it’s the same bird but is he ever able to close his wings? …
Hey Pug Life! I’ve seen those birds often at GF and the walkway… I always thought they were drying their wings out that way but someone also told me they may be protecting a nest when they do that so I’m not sure which it is.
That’s good that you are on the mend! I did a rainy walk at EPCOT that turned into a full on storm but I loved it! I went straight home to dry off and warm up tho so i didn’t get sick again. 😉 Haunting the house like a useless ghost is soooo frustrating… I get it! 🌸
