Dzabar only have power, agression and hard punches. Yodsanklai have beautiful and traditional and smooth Muay Thai. Technique against brute force.

That's what makes Muay Thai my favorite. Honor, discipline, technique and incredible toughness - it beats raw power most times. Power guys also tend to get emotional. That's a big hardship

Askerov really did well in this fight against Yodsanklai. Not the wild swinging style, but very calm and collected.
Askerov obviously knows he can't go straight in against a power hitter like Yod. Great fight though for both Nak Muays :)

Gotta admire a "Western" (but Dagestan is basically a third world region) kickboxer fighting at the highest level of Muay Thai. Anyone that dares to step into the ring with the best of another sport not for money but to test himself.
He does say that he is the breadwinner for his family and extended family and that if he don't fight (and win), his family don't eat. That raw motivation makes him that much scarier.
Big display of heart by Askerov but Yodsanklai is other stuff.
That rolling thunder kick pissed Yod off lol

Yod making Dzhabar feel some type of way with those kicks, his eyes all messed up whenever he takes a kick

Say that to Sam A when Haggerty took this championship away haha. I always like when Thais win, being passionate of Muay Thai myself. But saying westerners don't hurt or win against Thai legends is inaccurate.
@@ottovonbismarck5007 old Kem got KOed by spinning kick , old Singdam too ( twice ) , B level Payak Samui also , declining Wanchalong also , a declining Jongsanan also , etc...
Saying that prime Thais can get KO by spinning attack is almost ludicrous ( very rare ) .
But declining or old Thai getting KOed by unconventional strikes is very plausible .
@@atrevino1997 Haggerthy is way bigger , longer , younger and is natural at 61 KG .
While Sam-A has got KOed 10+ time at that point , way past his prime , way older , way smaller , way shorter and at 61 KG is no way his weigh .
Also the fight was VERY close ( those two knockdowns saved Haggerthy IMO , Sam-A was giving him hell ) .
If that was prime Sam-A he would of made the Englishman his girl in 1 rounds .
Watch Sam-A VS Pokkaew , Porsanae or Penek and you'll see why a prime Sam-A was thunder and lightning .

yodsanklai got slower kick then buakaw... but it's sure hard if got hit by yodsanklai kick...

why every muay thai fighter not mastered low kick?
Let them kick you. Tell me they haven’t got low kicks mastered
John Wayne Parr fought both yodsanklai and Buakaw. He said in an interview that after his fight against Yod, he could not hold a spoon.
