The comet’s animation, looking much like the northern lights; (aurora borealis) was so breathtaking. When Violet recited a quote from that transcribed book about the same event, from centuries before was such a heartwarming moment. I learned that Leon’s was voiced by Yuto Uemura. Who also did Thorfinn’s from Vinland Saga. He did such a great job fleshing out Leon’s character.
I will tell you, there's a reason she feels like she doesn't deserve happiness. As a vet, I will say that feeling is very important. And this is one of my favorite anime of all time. The themes of emotion, love, tragedy, and longing were carefully woven into a masterpiece here. And at the time this episode came out, I totally shipped Leon and Violet. In a sense, they seemed so close in not understanding their own feelings, so burying themselves into their work, only to re-discover themselves.
Loving what you do. Loving who you're with. Loving who you lost. The love of a parent. The love of a child. All of these aspects and more have to be understood
I love this anime, and especially this episode which somehow makes me recall the movie "your name". I am glad that Leon finally got his way to go, but also painful as his love for Violet is one way🥲 Anyway, I am happy everyday since I can enjoy beautiful reactions by people all over the world. I had no idea that Japanese anime, the culture of my country, is widely loved until RUclips appeared. Thank you so much!
I think this was my favorite episode, both of them are such dorks.
