Good to see other GC's out there getting it done I have a 14 GC limited 💯 stock and I am amazed how capable it is We went to hot springs AR last week and now I'm hooked can't wait to go back soon
Grand Cherokees are very underrated off-road. They are extremely capable vehicles, especially when they have the QDII 4wd system. Trailhawks come with it standard along with factory skid plates, but you can get it as an option on other trims.
@@EJOpdahl I watch and love these type of videos. In my opinion, I think the best ones are with no music. People love just hearing the tires and the engine climbing that mountain. I was doing a search on “Jeep Grand Cherokee off-road” and it is so great to just hear that beast of a jeep make all the noise just by itself. It just takes away from the sounds of that beautiful machine. Which I am getting more and more impressed with. I want one!
The newer Jeep is an overland, so I has the air suspension of the trailhawk but is more luxury oriented inside and doesn’t come with skid plates stock. (One in the video appears to have bumpers and stuff added on). The older car is a wj laredo with a small lift
Skid plates on an Overland that is Trail Rated and had the quadralift 2 are standard; rockrails though are optional! I know, silly isn't it? At least that's how it was when I ordered my 2016.
@@MrKozanitis I see. Well I know my dad put a bunch of aftermarket plates on the red jeep in the video, plus his rock rails and front bumper are aftermaket
Lol. Car is meant to be driven. We have taken that red jeep on some seriously f*cked up trails and high centered it bad on stuff. It's taken a beating and done well. It's my dad's. I have the blue wj (the car the camera is mounted on in the video) and don't feel as guilty when I beat it up. Now my dad has a 6.5inch lifted wj on 33's that he wheels.

Thanks! Both jeeps are v6

Lovely music.
thank you! I'm on spotify as Ethan 432 (and have another youtube channel under that name)
The WJ would’ve eaten that up
My wj definitely did better. Still stacked a few rocks but wouldn't have needed to with a locker or lsd
Common man that jeep is way to nice to be taken on these kind of roads get a zj or something for this kinda driving 😢
