@@tasmaniantaswegianI’ve not noticed for 3 days, so I’m leaving it 🤣
Isn't booper a blooper?
I had to stop the whole video as soon as you referred to the bus as the "one hundred and fifty five".
It would be the One Five Five. I've never heard some one actually say the number like you did. I'm shook.
22 seconds in... As a bus driver, the answer: no.
As an observant member of the public, noticing both vehicle types (e.g. double or single decker) and specific registrations, the answer is no!
You do realise Joe that downloading London bus pal would’ve saved you half an hour- you just type in the registration plate and it instantly shows you the location.
Half an hour wouldn’t have put a dent in the length I spent on this one 🤣 but yes haha
Not so much fun though. lol.
@@JoeDanHirstworse of all a mod on London bus pal has tracked out which bus you left it on😭🙏
The YY66 part of the number plate is not the unique identifier. It signifies the place and date of registration, therefore entire fleets registered at the same time will carry those same digits. The unique identifiers are the 3 letters at the end, so you'll see vehicles registered consecutively as ABC, ABD, ABE etc.
"Breaking News - the bus has moved" made me laugh out loud, like it was BBC drama or something. I was fascinated by this film as I have never seen an air-tag in action. (Or inaction in this case!).
First bus YY66 OYH but at the end YY66 OYJ you got on the very next bus!
how to figure out if a bus does one route or multiple:
use a website to track down the license plate ❌
put your £20 plastic blob that doesnt work that well to 'track it down' ✅
It's not a license plate.
@ you get what i mean
@@thisis_mudchute "dinner plate" would have been more imaginative. 😝
Licence not license
@ omg i misspelt a word ots the end of the world aaaaaaaaa
Plate was YY66 OYH, you showed YY66 OYF where you showed it earlier on that app in the video
at the beginning it was YY67OYH at the beggining and at the end you rode YY67OYJ
i wonder if its still on the YY67OYH, lost battery where it was last tracked but still between the seats to this very day... i'm gonna need a follow up lol
@@RainyBlueSkies I may actually go on that bus and have a look for myself..
AHHHH. Part 2 needed pronto!
@@JoeDanHirst lol do it I still haven’t taken it
The bus at the end was actually YY66 0YJ so close to YY66 0YH at the beginning which is no wonder you made a mistake.
The number plates were different 😂
“One hundred and fifty-five” you know 😂
one five five
That was bugging me also. 😂😂
imagine the bus driver has an iphone and it notifies them that an airtag is following them 😂
Yes this definitely a possibility!!
To be fair there being tracked by the company as well to know where all buses are at one time.
Turns out you got on the wrong bus, you got on OYJ instead of OYH
You caught a rare curtailment in that thumbnail, 155 to Kennington!
You should probably keep an eye on the second bit, which was OYH, because YY66 is the same on a lot different vehicles
Lol he just got on a different bus at the end Z
OYJ
@@nizamahmed5073 yeah, thats why the airtag wasn't there
Forget the reg plate, use the bonnet number, coded EH??
@ the fleet number (the number found on the front of each bus, eg EH79) is another useful way to identify the correct vehicle, ie you left the AirTag on EH79, you went on EH80
Thats the wrong number plate ffs lol
Maybe the tag got found by a member of staff and they handed in as Lost Property. It might now be sitting in the Lost Property office along with about a million umbrellas waiting to be re-united with its owner.
"the exact same number plate"
Proceeds to show a different one 🙄
Nice! Also, an Enviro 400 MMC is rare on the 155, they normally use Gemini 3s.
3:55 yes N44 does have e400mmc hybrids so probably N44
Really clever idea. I thought you may have ended up trailing a bin wagon around London to either an infill site or an incinerator 😂
🤣
I like to think a member of staff handed the air tag in. But when you got on the second bus it had had a different reg.
its because you got on the wrong bus
Ngl this is such an underrated YT channel. I hope you get more subs and such a great awesome high quality vid I've seen. Hope to see more!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it :)
This is something i never expected to become a youtube video...
Joe just revealed the bus has had its plates swapped
rarely happens on the buses especially as a fleet numbers exist
YOU GOT ON THE WRONG BUS 8:31
wait until you hear about london vehicle finder (LVF)
I imagine that the cleaning staff found it? They then put it on a shelf in the cleaners' facility at Stockwell, which would explain why the "bus" stayed a week in the depot. How it got to Loughborough Junction is a matter for Sherlock Holmes.
It could just be that the bus stayed there for repairs, or similar
A great idea for a video. A shame the Airtag disappeared but you still got to see what you wanted!
Thank you :) I did!
I can already tell you, the same bus does not always do the same route
And the same driver doesn't always have the same bus, or do the same route!
I know that since I am good friends with a driver for my local, thanks for letting people know
It is the wrong number plate
the tfl api has the bus number plates
Fascinating concept but a huge mystery as to where the air tag went! How long do the batteries last on the tags?
12 Months, I cover it in my recent update video which you can find here: ruclips.net/video/ARvfkV7z_0Q/видео.htmlsi=sUEM0gBLOXXzwoLn :)
Your phone will alert you if you are travelling with someone else's Airtag, even Android has the feature, it then allows you to "ring" the tag so you can find it. It's an anti-stalking measure. I imagine a driver found it and dropped it in a drain.
I did/do know about this. But totally forgot! You are so right, this is definitely a possibility
Great video, very interesting 😀 I was thinking that the tag was going to get stuck between the seats when you put it in, so I have to admit that I wasn't surprised that the tag wasn't recovered 😂
The buses at the start and end have different number plates..
What if the AirTag starts beeping tho
8:19 Mate you aren't gonna find it on that one cos ITS THE WRONG REG
IT IS AHHH! Part 2??? 👀
@@JoeDanHirst lmao
@@JoeDanHirst Yesss
Wrong bus.
Brilliant Video Joe wonder what happened to it, I'm guesssing someone found it and disgarded it getting of the bus.
What a brilliant idea!
get out!
@McRailssbuzz bri
Catch the UPDATE Video here: ruclips.net/video/ARvfkV7z_0Q/видео.html 😊
What was the name of the app you use t ok track the buss
i think they might have thrown it away
Yes Joe! Smashing it mate!
Thanks bro 👊
2:36 the wrong bus 😂
So how long is a good maximum to leave a tracker in the seats? 3 days?
Well it looks like around 40 hours, but I’m not saying to do it haha
That did my head in
Buses do not do the same route everyday. Must buses do like 3 or 4 diffrent routes a day even if they are route branded they dont do 1 route all the time
Could I do the same on the train like Thamesliink be interesting know how many services change
no one says one hundred and fifty five. Its One Five Five.
Should he be allowed on RUclips ?
I am not impressed that you lost the AirTag !!
Suggest you redo video and it is only valid if AirTag is recovered
Wrong bus
N155 or N44 because they have the same company and type
You ask if the bus is on a unmatching route, the reason might be the bus driver was messing around with the system and the system thinks that the driver is actually going that route
For exaample: I've see a route called K4 using a unfitted bus model in midnight which is 99.999% impossible
I’ve seen 86 with a DLE😭🙏
@@Fire711_SpeedMcQueenHelper Yes exactly my point
What website was it that you useed to track the buses
2:33 - That is not the same bus!
No they don't stay on the same routes. They get different routes every day
A lot of the buses start with YY66 for the specific bus type you chose and you got the end wrong but it is also likely that the cleaning staff might have found the AirTag and left it on a shelf which might explain why the “bus” stayed at the depot for a week, how it got to Loughborough junction is another story for another time
Entertaining video, it was better than some of the rubbish on RUclips 👍
Thank you 🙏
Go ahead have a LOT of YY66 plate buses the 3 random letters are more important
They are very important, a big oversight. Part 2? 🤔
This is fun
There's an App called London Bus PAL Have information on Individual buses and what routes and when it's been out of service. But ypu way was more existing
Ahh that would have been useful haha!
Clip the mic to your clothing LOL that's what it's mean for lol
Good video
Fun simple video, thanks mate! the double decker buses are ICONIC I wish we had more of those in America!
Fun but what a total waste of time, everyone knows that any bus from a garage can go on any route. You only have to see the driver changing the screen at the front which shows the numbers. Also this a big advert to say why airtags are useless as you have LOST the airtag.
Duh!
Nice!
I don't think you thought this through. It's likely to have caused lots of people undue stress particularly the abused and stalked. iPhone owners on the bus will see an alert on their iPhone that says "AirTag Found Moving With You." - a sensible privacy measure included by Apple. Particularly scary when you're on an empty bus at night or everybody on the bus has changed while you've stayed put. Don't do this people.
NO PERSON would called it hundred and Fifty Five. Everyone says One FIVE FIVE
nice
Nice
You got on YY66 OYH one time and the other time you got YY66 OYJ
Solute for the airtag 🫡
