In March I did EVERY Overground station in a day (to stop at, not to actually alight!) With an 6:30am start I finished around 11:30pm. The Romford to Upminster was the killer that cost me nearly an extra hour at the end. EDIT: But now... I just watched your video on Battersea Park and realise that I DIDN'T do every one. Thanks a lot for spoiling that Joe! hehe
Oh wow! You’ve one upped me there! And on the Battersea point, it’s the only ‘limited service’ so you could argue it doesn’t count 😅 (or if you want it to count it also can do haha)
I get the feeling it might have been quicker to go: Emerson Park - Upminster Upminster - Barking (fast on C2C) Barking - Wanstead Park Wanstead Park - Forest Gate (Walk, it's an OSI) Forest Gate - Stratford (Elizabeth Line) Stratford - Hackney Central/Downs Hackney Central/Downs - Cambridge Heath Cambridge Heath - Highbury & Islington Highbury & Islington - Willesden Junction Willesden Junction - Overground in any direction it's the end
you can't go from cambridge heath direct to highbury. fastest way is probably to go to liverpool street and walk to shoreditch high street (edit: nevermind, fastest route is to change at hackney central/downs)
@@thisis_mudchute Stratford - Canonbury Canonbury - Whitechapel Whitechapel - Liverpool Street Then you can turn back to Hackney. This may be longer, but you'll have marked interchanges.
I’ve been on the London Overground lots of times and also been on the new Class 710. I just don’t know why TfL had to rename all 6 lines. The Liberty Line could have been called Havering Line because Romford, Emerson Park and Upminster are in the London Borough of Havering.
Montana Fox, he who made 'Every London Underground Station Montana Fox' (RUclips), is having a go at an 'Every London Overground Station' during 2025. Might be worth keeping an eye out for it?! Not a race, made over a few days, just putting the stations in alphabetical order.
Good point, didn't think about that at the time, but it did mean I got to ride the Liberty Line both ways and check off the Weaver Line whilst traveling to Liverpool Street :)
It's great that some people like to explore their own home town, isn't it? Although Sadiq Khan could have given more genuine names to the railways, how about The Muggers' Line, The Stabbers' Line, and The Mobile Phone Snatchers' Line?

@@thisis_mudchute By the way, there is a link between London Fields and Dalston Kingsland, but it isn't used in regular service.
If they reopened Primrose Hill, Lioness and Windrush Line could be combined.

Great video 😀 congratulations on riding every Overground line! Which one was your favourite?
Thank you 😁 It’s gotta be either the Suffragette or Liberty Line due to the small and sweet stations! But they all had their perks!
Nick badleys king lost twin lol
One day I’ll go on ‘Who do you think you are’ and we’ll be reunited 😂

Why didn’t you go from Romford to Liverpool Street on the Elizabeth line?
