Thanks for your input. A few days after we recorded this video, I did put a pony tail, wet, up a bit higher in the back so it gave the cut a little more layers. So you were spot on :)
This way the cut hair slides off, instead of it sticking to softer fabric. It's easier to clean up off the floor, instead of having to fish it out of my clothes. When my mom used to cut our hair as kids, she used a plastic cape. So this nylon windbreaker is kinda like the plastic cape she used to use.
All scraggly in front. Next time, put your hair behind your ears before putting it in a ponytail. Comb hair straight down and make the ponytail at the nape of your neck.
