Simple Summer Wardrobe
The simple, practical, timeless summer clothes I wear for gardening, casual dinners out, walks, errands, and life.
Most of these clothes I've had for years, purchased from Title 9 Sports, REI, Old Navy, Fred Meyer, Duluth Trading Company, and Costco. My newest clothes have come from Duluth Trading Company and Quince. I got the linen tank dress for free from a neighbor, and the red tank top from a thrift store.

Wynooche Early Apple Tree and Fruit
Просмотров 43День назад
A delicious early apple that's disease resistant, easy to grow, and makes great pies and cobblers- you don't have to peel as the skin practically dissolves when heated. Rarely found in stores because as a thin-skinned apple it doesn't travel well (it bruises easily). But the taste is amazing. Great to grow in wetter climates, such as the pacific northwest or the coast.

I bet you could even do this faster with a thicker tape, such as painters tape? That's one of the joys of being a kid - you don't know what you're doing, so you just fiddle around/play until something happens. I think that's how my son (now 28) got so good at figuring out computers, games, logic - he just fiddled around with various online games and then figured out all the strategies. I hope you enjoy my back catalogue of memories, foibles, and things that bring me joy.

    • @BarbTalks-mu7sm
      @BarbTalks-mu7sm 3 месяца назад

      I cut it back each year to keep it smaller. The new growth comes out and fills it out in the more bushy style. Since the spot I have my fig in is a small space next to the porch, I prune it kind of like an espalier so that it's wider than it is deep. I think this allows the sunshine to better penetrate to reach the figs so they ripen better.
