Mid size trucks not roomy lol. But this question all depends on how much you towing.

Traded in my F-150 on a new Taco. Never looking back. These are absolutely perfect!

I dont feel old at 39 but I think the Access Cab SR5 Tacoma's are the perfect truck for older guys who just want a "truck". Legit 24mpg with the smaller tires. The 6ft bed is almost as big as my 6.5ft F150 bed. No frills, just what u need with super plush suspension and light steering. Can flip a 180 degree turn on a 2 lane road and fly in/out of garage doors with 8" clearance both sides. I just did 70mph thru a Severe Winter Storm Warning here in WI with 4wd engaged and it was planted and gripped great for a light truck with hard tires.

I've had a full size pick up since 2003 with a few mid sized pick ups mixed in over the years when I wasn't towing a big camper. The Tacoma checks all the boxes for me now. Not towing very much other than a uhaul trailer here and there. My only mistake was that I did not wait for a long bed. I took delivery of my 22 TRD Off Rd because with them being so hard to get I jumped on it. Not a big deal and I love the truck.

I have a full-size off-road truck---could care less about towing. Without a garage, I would not be able to do much with a Tacoma because it's a really small truck. Smaller than my Honda CRV. Smaller than other Mid-size truck, smaller interior than the Ford Maverick.

I agree with everything you said the only difference is I’m 57 years old and I did the exact opposite. I always had big trucks now I love my Tacoma’s. And my wife’s forerunner. 👍👍 and you’re so right. The cost of the diesels is ridiculous now…

Please do review on them hotter coils you installed, 26-27 mpg wow I rarely see 20 mpg on my slightly modded trd orsb with a bed topper shell

U wont see it with the bigger oem tires on the OR, or bigger than oem. The 245/75r16's on the SR and SR5 give the motor a lot more zip and mpg.

@@tieoneon1614 I may have to look into those type tires next replacement thanks for the info gas prices are just outrageous these days here in Vegas we pay similar to Cali prices but go to UT, further in and the gas prices come down

Trucks are bought to be worked. No way around it, the problem lies with the ones that only want the clout, the awesome pictures for IG . The ones that say if you don’t have the biggest badest truck that everyone already has, they only drive them. They all have a bed in the rear all have four tires, there is no thing such as “cool” perse it’s just what this society in the truck world wants you to think. Bottom line as already stated you buy the truck you want for the needs you have . Not a status symbol it’s a money maker one way or another, if some complain of just wanting to drive something and worry about gas mileage then a truck isn’t for you.
