What I've learned is that no matter how serious the NPC is, if Emily can say something so deranged they just repeat what she's said back to her (see "your name is Hilda Hilda?" and "Sorry, the caterpillar was chasing the butterfly?"), she's officially broken Brennan and significantly altered the course of the conversation.
Something to remember about the Honkin Big situation is that the scene was going to be quite heartfelt and then Emily did some great roleplay terrorism and it was the best
This is one of my favorite seasons, it was hilarious- also I binged a lot of things so I could be wrong but the Axe spin the bottle was in here I think and that was one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while
I think we can all agree Neverafter failed as a horror season, but it's probably my favorite just cause of how funny it is the whole time. The cast was really on point this whole season
i'm not native in english and with knowing some of the cultural nuances i still, to this day, can't understand why everyone was so amused by "grandma, your teeth are honking big", like i treated it as a slightly funny phrase at first and was surprised how funny it actually was for the intrepid heroes
I mean, the original line is 'what big eyes/ears/teeth you have!' So it's going from a more formal, antiquated style to "Your teeth are honkin' big!" With "honkin'" as a stand in for "fuckin'", since Ylfa is a really nice preteen.

The actual anger in Lou's voice while yelling at Zac to stop playing footsie with him is so funny
the idea of the big bad wolf being so bewildered by ylfas insane story that he just kind of puts off eating her for 20 minutes is hilarious
He just wanted to see where it was going. Like rubbernecking at the drive thru.
The whole ylfa scene is made better in my opinion by the grandma actually being the big bad wolf at that point
I imagine the thought process was “I know I’m gonna die to this kid but holy hell is she hilarious”

Poor confused wolfie 😂

No one will ever have the power Emily Axford has to make the entire table and Brennan break
this. both her d20 and naddpod characters are absolutely chaotic lmao
She knows exactly how to break them beautifully
Emily Axford was sent from hell to kill Brennan
Brennan just slightly shaking as Candlewick always makes me laugh so hard
the way that murph’s laugh is more of a reptilian hiss in the honkin big clip… i like that
top ten murph sounds for sure

These clips are honkin’ nice
Cricket’s really channeling Wennan Wee Wulligan with his third rule there
are you making an obscure um actually reference on this neverafter clips compilation, that’s delightful
@@Aralc638 Um actually, that’s a Game Changer reference.

4:51 Best Lou cry-laughing scene of the season
i so desperately want the new season with Matt Mercer DMing to involve him having to deal with Emily and Ally chaos
not emily and ally but brennan, zac, and lou with BRENNAN AND LOU SITTING NEXT TO EACH OTHER like the chaos will be very much there
An ancient, butt naked, turnip zealot screaming as he runs through the tunnels under his wartorn country
@@sarahbearbabygirl Well you're in luck with the Ravening War lol
Lou reacting like Fabian in real life is always perfect
This season is my favorite next to starstruck, just pure crackhead energy

Emily is very good at playing a pre teen and I don’t know what that means for her
Obviously it means she remembers that time in her life better than the average person. Which is hard to do; the bar is pretty low on that one.

@@ladyofrillwater thank you sm for the explanation!
Emily Axford can and will derail every d20 campaign
Emily was on fire in episode 9, that's for sure
The most horrifying part had to be Candlewick. BLM’s psycho, “GET REAAAADDYYYYY!!!” is such a terrifying thing to hear. Real Deliverance energy to me.
god it's been too long since i've heard 'grandma your ears are honkin' big'
This is big hilda hilda energy
