Looks great and ties in well with the furniture!
Just love your work. I have laid 3 porcelain jobs now from watching your videos. Thanks for sharing
Great news Baz
Great work guys! That is amazing work.
Thanks a lot!
Really nice job ,inspired now to do my garden like that
Thanks Andy
Absolutely beautiful 😍
Thank you! Cheers! appreciate it
Looks amazing!
O thank you
This looks great, i really like the edging and the way the trees are framed. Great job
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks great

Stunning job again lads👌
Thanks again!
Brilliant job boys
Thanks Mark
How beautiful was all the work congratulations greetings from san felipe chile
Hola
The best landscapers on RUclips 👍👍
I wish mate , but thank you
Like the format of start to finish in one episode, the other way you can't Waite for the next episode, nice one Jonny boy 🍻
Thanks Anthony
Stunning and what nice woman making some snap up for lads crisp and a nice warm Cornish pasty
So good, and I am a Leeds Fan lol
We are all Leeds fans 💪
Nice to see there are still conscientious tradesmen still out there ,wish you were local to Leeds ,got a 90 sq mt ceramic patio that requires laying but struggling to find labour.
Cheers Vince i know some good guys up your way.
wow! great job again got my Jupiter gray coming Monday from Cardiff slate and stone great price.
Great News
Looks super mondo fabuloso chaps.
Work of art that, beautiful job. That grouting in looks stressful 😂
Thank you! Cheers!
I always liked Indian sand stone but I think the grey porcelain looks great. I might be tempted to go for that when I get my garden sorted out
You should!
10/10 love it
Thank you
3:13 I believe your guy found a £100,000 walkers love heart crisp. He could be retired now if he hadn't have eaten it! 😳😂
Your too good b 🕺🏻
Nice job! If you had the same patio that had steps at the end to a raised lawn, you used blockwork & tiled wall as a retainer, would you install aco's or just had a French drain, or nothing where it meets the steps/wall
I'm a DIY'er and would love to try a porcelain patio, but massively put off by how scary the black grout looks on the newly laid patio 🤣Great job - looks incredible
Hi Gary mate, thanks for watching, dont be put off mate there are many other grouts to use I am alwsy here to talk you through it, be safe mate.
Ah man me too! How the heck did they get it clean?! 😂
Stunning Job - I'm comtemplating having a go myself, but scared to death :-)
Maybe if I watch enough videos - yikes!
Everyone is just so busy and booked up.
Lovely patio
Thanks bud
Looks amazing mate. Doing my own project. Have spoken to you before for advice but was wondering which grout you would use if you can’t get hold of easy grout brand. Struggling at moment to find anyone who has it. Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks Jamie
Excellent job, thanks for sharing. I’m planning on laying porcelain slabs in my garden. My plan was to lay the weed fabric onto the topsoil, 15cm of type 1, compact it all and then lay the slabs on 5cm of mortar. What’s thrown me is you’ve put a base of 5:1 mix down first then mortar then slab. Do I need to put the 5:1 mix down on top of the type 1?
what you doing is fine its just my preferred method
Nice
This is the one I was talking about pall I have such a bad back this would help out a lot
Another pucker job
Cheers Bud
@@GreentopLandscapes so where can I get one of them what’s the make I have a small robi wash boy I want that big one
Another professional job, I would be worried about someone dropping and cracking it though.
lol, it will be fine Brendan
It will be absolutely fine if it's laid on a full bed like these are. It's only when any tile or slab is laid with voids beneath they could be broken with impact mate
Superb as usual. I assume being sealed it’s far less maintenance than sandstone.
thank you so much, absolutely less maintenance
Thanks for your fantastic video.
Did you use a membrain under the hardcore, or did you put it on top .
Thanks Chris.
Sometimes i do Chris mate
@@GreentopLandscapesThanks for your reply.
Great job Sir, very neat and sharp lines ⭐ did you say porcelain grout! Can I ask is there a special grout for outside slabs or is the grout just the same as you would use inside a house with tiles! 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you for your comment that’s very kind, there are just so many groutes with just as many applications, more than happy to talk you through it.
Hi what a great job you done its beautiful work ..please can you advise me on what slurry and grout i can use on my porcelain as I'm going to be helping my mate to do my patio ...its so confusing as there are so many products 🤔
Hi Neil, your right its a Minefield, I have been using Easyprime and Easygout from Azpects
@@GreentopLandscapes thank you so much, thats a weight of my mind ..
I just bought a 4.5 pulvex blade so with a little water i hope this will do my cuts as i cant afford to buy a proper bridge saw just yo do one job lol
Great work guys , could i ask do you recommend sealing the porcelain slabs once laid ? We’ve had ours done but the contractor who done ours used sweep in grout is that any good? Thanks
Hi Paul, thanks for your kind words, your paving could be compromised with a brush in grout as the water could hold in the joint then the freeze thaw effect will ruin it. Good thing. is that brush in grouts are easy to remove. I would suggest re grouting, call me if you need.
Hi what are these tiles called and where did you get them from thank you and what a great job
client bought them
That’s awesome! We’re looking at getting something similar to this done! Is an expensive job?
just depends Harry but there is a little more involved in it
JB would you recommend using a lighter colour slab when using Porcelain rather than Black/Dark .. as always a great job done and happy customers which is no surprise.
Yes, absolutely Hi Clyde mate, the black ones get very hot sometimes.
mate your work is top notch, one question how much sbr do you use in each mixer load
just a mug full in the mix mate or in a little water first
Looks good pal. What ingredients/ratio do you use for lean mix?
Hi Bud about 12 to 1
High guys what fall did you use?
Good stuff here, been watching your videos, trying to learn for my diy project, could you enlighten me why did you leave a little gap between tiles and the house and is it necessary? Thank you
hi Bud thank you, its to allow the water running off the face of the house to go into the ground and not across the patio.
@@GreentopLandscapes thank you, all the best!!
Great video! Can you use this porcelain for driveways?
Yes you can! but needs to be laid differently like a car show room like a tiling format on concrete.
Stunning job, where can I find this edging? I am trying to find edging everywhere and I cant find it, any help would be appreciated, Thanks!
We cut them Andrew mate
Cracking job but i did worry when u kept plunging ur hand into the mixer 😂
sorry mate, see your point
Greentop Landscapes & Design no apology required mate, your work is fantastic 🤝
where could i find a sponge squeegee i live in ireland nice job 👏🏽
not sure now Luiz mate they all seem to be out of stock
Been watching your channel for a few weeks now and the work you do is brilliant and love the attention to detail.Do you work around the Cheshire erea as I'm looking to do my garden ?
Thank you yes we go nationwide
What is your next availability ,I know you're probably really busy this time of year .
It will depend on what your needs are
@@GreentopLandscapes
Sorry for the late reply, just got home from work.Is it ok to email you about the job details as there is a lot to mention over RUclips or I can call you in the morning if you like.
Many thanks.
Yes of course no problem
I work at a landscaping merchants, and all we seem to sell lately is porcelain. Great product. What jointing compound are you using
Easy Grout
Loved this patio and the end result is amazing... just what we are after. What porcelain tile is this and how much it would cost for a 35m2 area, including your labour? We're just getting quotes for similar but they are out of our price range. We are even thinking of trying to do it ourselves but when we watch your video, we know it will be so difficult as we're not skilled. Many thanks in anticipation.
Thank you so much!
Hi, we have exactly 35 sqm area where we want to lay Porcelain with similar idea to the video. Did you manage to get some quotes? Did it work out expensive in the end? Thanks
It was hard getting landscapers in to give quotes on our slightly sloped area so we've had to go with decking after all as the guy who installed our garden room was great with installing decking. It's only just underway. Paving would be our first preference but prices for stone and then labour was sky high. Hope you all get a better deal.
Looks incredible. Can I ask how much that cost, all in?
Depends
Hi bud, great patio! Could I ask what size gap you did between slabs?
4mm mate its what I find that works for me
@@GreentopLandscapes thanks for the reply mate 👍
Hi Johnny
I am about to lay my porcelain on a 20mm bed of 4-1 mix on to an existing concrete patio but have decided to slurry both the tile and the concrete as I don’t have room to go thicker with my bedding mix
Would you also consider adding sbr or plasticiser I my mix
Thanks
Keep the videos going I’m learning a lot
Would you also consider
Hi John mate thank you I would do 5 : 1 all sharp and yes SBR in the mix is good.
What do think of mapei ultracolour plus for a porcelain patio
Hi jamie I think Mapei is great just make sure You dont dilute the grout when your cleaning off bud, thanks for watching.
Lovely job. New build gardens are totally soulless doesn't look like any trees or bushes are planted by the owner to cover up the fencing.
So nice of you
Any details of picture frame tiles and tiles used for this project?
last video mate
This was a while ago, but any chance you remember what tiles these were? And possibly where they are from?
Cardiff Slate And Stone
Amazing job. Is the border porcelain ? Was this a larger slab cut down to size?
Absolutely Nic mate
Wish you were in scotland mate! Superb videos & professionalism 👍🏽
@@Nic606 Well thank you, Sir, just sharing what I do
Hi need some help here!!! The edges of my patio it’s been left it incomplete, I thought was included on the price given but apparently not, they said the grass will cover it and I won’t notice that, now we have cement coming out of the edges slabs looks orribile, does it affect the durability in long term ?? And what shall I do with this gardeners who did that for me ?
give us a call 07795595994
Any chance you can tell me where to buy the squijee and the wash boy from please, I’ve laid my patio but need to grout it now
I can not get them anywhere
do you find any difference between a 4:1 or 5:1 mix in terms of how the slab performs or is it just a case of less money spent on cement
Should not have it to strong as it can crack
What saw and blade are you using to cut porcelain. It looks like a rubi but what model if you don’t mind me asking.
its a new one I am testing at the moment for them but I like the Viper one
Greentop Landscapes & Design hi I’ve been doing some research is the rubi dc 250 850 ok or do you need the dx250 1400 for 20mm porcelain
Many thanks.
Hi, I forgot to put a membrane down before putting type 1 down. Think it will be okay without or will I put on before adding cement to my slab?
Hi Kieran, as long as you have compacted it well it will be fine don't stress mate
Thanks mate keep up the good work
Hello Johnny boy where did you get the wash boy on steroids the one used to clean up not the normal wash boy but the one you use the lever with mate
Tilers Tools mate
What size tiles and what make could you recommend any good guys in the Liverpool area ,that's exactly what I'm looking for
Hi Kev mate, I am not sure you can try Sandstone Supplies in Warrington mate
@@GreentopLandscapes that's who I use
do you need expansion joints on a project this big ?
Well that’s a good question, not in this size but if it gets bigger you would need to
I’m doing 8metres by 8metres do you think it’ll need an expansion joint I can see your well experienced with porcelain I’ve only done 1 porcelain job previously but it was only small where as most other paving is more forgiving and flexible any advice would be really great full 👍
Jonathan I’m away at the moment but give me a call the weekend
Can you lay porcelain over the existing slabs or you have to remove them first??
Well that will just depend on the paving its self
@@GreentopLandscapes
An existing paving is only few years old. It's very solid and there is no loose slabs or anything like it. I was wondering if I can do it as that would save me a lot of time and money.
What colour of grout was it use used?
Dark Grey Keith
how many days are needed to complete the job? this one
couple of weeks
Can you show or talk us though the sub-base?
There is a previous video on it
hi can you do our back garden
Sure Mathew where are you from
Loving the videos.. really well explained and it’s good to see a tradesman showing you how to do it!
I have got 60sq meters to lay, the porcelain slabs are here with the sharp sand and cement and I’m going to try doing it myself with someone else only because it a 3/4 month waiting to get hold of someone to do the job who would be good! 🤞🏼
What tile cutter do you recommend for 20mm porcelain slabs?
Hi Luke always here to help and happy to take a call any time, there are so may ways to cut a tile but we use the Rubi Bridge saw and a small Plunge saw but there are blades out there that you can put on a small grinder that will work well mate.
Luke I just laid 100sq meters and we used a makita 9 inch grinder with a porcelain blade on it, worked a treat.
As I don’t lay patios everyday it weren’t worth investing in a ruby cutter, and hiring one near me was £130 a day plus vat
How much for 20 square metre
What is the colour and dimensions of the porcelain please?
800 x 400
Can you recommend any companies in ireland that are to your standards?
Hi Laurence, I do not sorry, where abouts are you?
@Greentop Landscapes & Design in Galway on the west coast. Aviation 2hrs west of Dublin.
Happy to travel
Nive bit of cutn lads.
Thanks
Defo keep your hand out the mixer mate
Will do
amazing job but should have aco drains...thats just my opinion
That’s fine mate
Nice job, just had same layed, slabs coming up already only been down 3 weeks. He didn't put the primer on the back of the slabs. Unbelievable
Are you local to Kent got a job for you!
Richard why don t you give me a call Sir
What’s the name of these slaps please?
I can. not remember mate
Where are you based ?
We travel every where Luke
Oliver Norris
How many m2 was that?
40 I think Luke mate
U showed literally nothing of you laying it or the laying process..
so sorry, maybe look at the other 1200 videos lol
Turn the silly music off
I like t Alan but for you
take the bloody music off
I know its loud I got it wrong
Hi mate, do you know the name/brand of the porcelain? Love the colour.
Hi Ash tht one the client got so I dont know the name sorry
