Yes! Marko has a little whimsical darkness in his tone. Its a little intimidating but compelling and playful. in my head he is a tiefling bard

This is my favorite track. Marko was absolutely out of this world on this song. And then when Floor comes in, they are so amazing together. It made me cry also....... What an ending to the album! Take care and stay safe.

The transition from "life" to "endlessness" is the absolute best part of the whole album
I absolutely love it because the way it builds up to "life" in a major key, with the notes ascending, but instead of hearing this grandiose and triumphant note exemplifying the beginning of life, you get this ominous, somewhat existential and hopeless feeling with the word "endlessness" on that same note with a choir behind it, but this time descending. It really captures the contradicting nature of the universe, with life being a beautiful but brief moment that ends in death and the continuation of endless void of non-existence.

But seriously, I think you're right on this one. It's so unexpected and yet so satisfying. And absolutely beautiful.
I for myself think, that the whole song is a manifestation of the acceptance for our inevitable doom and the downfall of life. And yet... there is nothing as beautiful than knowing that we're living in the best times of the universe. The era of light and life.
Do you know that Nightwish actually made a movie, back in 2011-2012? I'd completely recommend buying it and watching it, even if you don't react to it. It's a phenomenal movie with a ton of heart and soul poured into it. Check it out if you're curious!
Phenomenal! The whole bloody thing... absolutely amazing. The whole album elevates what musicians can produce... what a pleasure it is to listen to the highly skilled operating at the top of their game. Amazing.
Now you must listen to NATURE, cd 2. One big reaction to the whole cd, that's the only way to do it🙂
You need to hear the second cd !! It's the nature side of the album! Completes the whole cycle :D

Indeed! The new album is not done, cd2 is another kind of beautiful ! As much as I love the heavier songs, CD2 was a treat to listen to.

Such a great album.....so I've decided my favorite nightwish songs in order and they are as follows...WHICH EVER ONE IS PLAYING AT THAT PARTICULAR TIME...just so many so diverse so so good....there is NO band that can compare instrumentally,lyrically and definitely not vocally with them.
I love this song. It almost feels like they next-leveled themselves AGAIN over the course of this album. I love how transcendent and beautiful this song is while also being really heavy.
This song has so powerful lyrics that it changed how I think about afterlife and life in general. Great song!
My favorite track on the album...mostly because I was desperate for some solo Marco, but the lyrics are great as well

Compare it to my first listen. I was dumbfounded. For all the songs on the album I had to take a few mins to gather my thoughts but with this masterpiece I just had to put my headphones down, breathe and contemplate existence. Not many songs will do that to a man

This is by far my most favorite track of this album, specially because of the ending! With the video imagery, you feel like you're floating in the space, but you feel fine.

A great ending, on a great album, yes, there is not one song i dont like on this NW album, of cause there are those you hear more often, and those you sometimes skip listening, but not because they are bad, just because theres some you rather want to listen to in that moment.. THANKS NIGHTWISH!! AND THANKS MR ROCK N ROOLLLLL, enjoyed the album jorney, and did watch all your reactions on this one...

I love every song from Nightwish, with Anette, with Tarja and especially with Floor. I never hear off Nightwish, until I seemed on youtube what is Metal exactly, and there was more than heavy metal, I didn't know, but I listen to a different kind of metal, and I love this kind of metal. I was a fan of Bon Jovi, but now is Nightwish my favourite(but also more metal bands)

Absolute masterpiece of an album. They fucking did it again!
Haven't had goosebumps in a long time, but first time I listened this song once again (being one of my favorite already) with my new headphones. And my god did I get some goosebumps!
For me this is the perfect combination of beauty and "heavyness" (or Beauty and Rage if somebody gets it ;) )
All the Works of Nature Wich Adorn the World is up next mr rock, and thats all in one go... like they said earlier...to furfill the cycle...and its awesome
I think the 2nd part should've been released in a separate album under Tuomas' name instead of nightwish...it's a metal band not the lion king soundtracks...

The first time I listened to this song I was at work with my headphones in, and not going to lie, I was in tears. It's such a fucking masterpiece from the beginning to the end. Marco's voice, especially, always gives me absolute goosebumps.
Top 3 song for me. This one, Pan and Music are the three best on the album then Tribal and Harvest. Whole album is great though. I am very happy with this album :D

Just wondering why you already calling endlessness the end of the journey while there is a whole 2nd "Nature" album to listen to. It might not be the traditional Nightwish you are used to but certainly meant as part of the Human Nature experience. If not by reaction video hope you sit back, relax and listen to it :-)
The whole other half of this album is a fudging SYMPHONIC SUITE. Like, Tuomas Holopainen is a pure musical and emotional genius. It tells so much more with music than with his words which are already a wonder. My second favourite song of this album, after shoemaker, is the last one. It makes you think about the meaning of our existence, you really need to listen to it

What a ride indeed! Marco's harmonious vocals and Floor's mystical joining. "Sahara" came to mind. Perhaps the best thing about this record.

This song just completely solidifies and reinforces my opinion that Marco Hietala is one of the current GREATEST metal vocalists currently performing and recording today.

Speaking about Marko, I'm surprised you never reacted to The Islander. It's a song he composed and sung all by himself, and Tuomas decided to include it in the Dark Passion Play album when he found out how awesome it was. Both the music video and the live version at Tampere are awesome.
My other suggestions would be studio ones : Cadence of her Last Breath and (especially) Rest Calm. Both are from the Anette era and absolutely brilliant.

Now that you have an idea of what some of my favorite singers in metal sound like, you should check out Feliz Navidad by Tarja for Hurricane Relief, it has a cameo by so many people and will give you full body shivers. Plus not a single reactor has done that song so you would be a trailblazer 🤩

Honestly, you couple Richard Dawkins' speaking part to Carl Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot" in Ad Astra...my mind was _blown_ when I realized how insignificant we really are, yet we live in the most wondrous place in the universe -- Earth.
