- In the second episode of the Airwolf build we continue to do work on the fuselage as well as setting up the BeastX flybarless system.
The BeastX is Spektrums entry into flybarless systems for RC helicopters and I go through the process of how you set the system up for the Airwolf heli.
We also manage to finally test fly the mechanics in this video, but it’s clear that this series is going to be over three, maybe even four videos before we finally get this iconic helicopter finally in the air.
As always thank you too all who have been continuing to support the channel as it really helps. Subscribe if your not already here and click the like and share buttons as well as the notifications dingaling for more content on this model and others too come.
Enjoy the video……
Outstanding build and flight!
Thank you sir
Its nice you had a walk through on.setup for the newbies
Thank you I hope that it’s helpful for others
Came across your videos and they’re very informative and interesting. I just can’t get my head around your silliness at times, without that it would have been brilliant.
Unfortunately your the only person that has commented on my ‘silliness’ as you call it, but it was always my intention to be myself and add humour to the videos so unfortunately it will continue
Great Video
Glad you enjoyed it pal
Another great video one of the best channels on you tube for showing hands on how to do things . Great job .
Wow, thanks! That’s very kind of you to say so
Looks like a tiny bit of interaction on the collective when you use elevator because of the swashplate mod at 1:08:12. I don't think it's enough to notice in flight, but you could potentially add a mix for collective when you change elevator.
I am getting a bit of pull back like it’s tail heavy but I think the swash has a slight tilt back apart from that it flies good
Well doe another good video and a good explanation on Beast x set up
Appreciate it! Thank you. Wasn’t going to do a BeastX setup originally but thought why not, it’s still a good system but does take getting used too when setting up
thanks for the beast ex setup was very helpful if you need to set the parameter settings can you video it please i really enjoy your vids keep them coming 👋
Sure thing will do pal, thanks for the support
As a new subscriber, the videos are very good and helpful. 😊.
Thanks and welcome
Yes I've had about 5 Airwolfs !!!!!!!!!!!!!
What about making one of the front windshields removable or hinged (mounted magnetically maybe?) and it should give you more than enough access to the battery compartment.
It’s definitely an option
