Would you please add RTX HDR comparisons to your videos as well? I'd love to know whether RTX HDR could work better than HDR10 and HGiG in games you test. You even liked RTX HDR more than native HDR in Cyberpunk! So it's another reason to add RTX HDR to your vids.

When the game launched, there were a couple issues with combat and the controls. But they have since patched and tweaked a lot and it feels it's like a completely different game. Highly recommend people check it out and judge for themselves
I have been playing this game the last few days on lg CX xbox serie x ver and i dont recommend having black point all the way to left it will some places just look awful black crush is insane.
Anybody here on the PC version seeing minor black level raise on the Lilium HDR Analysis tool? The black level seems to be raised by about 0.001177 nits which is very minor but I'm confused as to why it wasn't reported in the video? Just wondering if I've done something wrong on my end.
Hi Amok :D, can you please make a video on how to properly install the Lilium HDR tool? I had it installed back then, but now is it not showing min/ max nits on the corner, but rather some per channel ( R G B) info :/, also u did mention the HCFR calibration video on CX, but I don't find it. Ty a lot man. I appreciate it.
The original dead space is the way to go for first timers. It has aged very well and is great on both the og 360 or for the chefs kiss a series x. It was darn near perfect in pacing, story and action. The remaster added to this and changed the game for better or worse. The orginal game is worth making extra effort to play such as setting up a darkened room with a decent surround sound / headphones. The immersion is off the charts, and you will be drawn into a very scary world. A world that will stay with you even after you turn off the game or even roll the credits.
@TRONiX404 the main reason i waited so long was because of the reported performance issues and i am very sensitive to stutter I had ZERO issues with stutter and it ran super smooth with the ray tracing off , although i do have a 4090. 7800x3d combo but it was quute the treat
@@RowdyCP3only one mindless zombie enemy is allowed to attack you at any time. Otherwise the close combat would not be working at all. And this decision makes absolutely no sense and makes every combat encounter in the game play boring and exactly the same. Whoever designed that gameplay should have been fired years ago.
Dead Space Remake is a better game because of its level design, but I agree i had a more fun time playing Callisto because of the combat being different and fresh. DS felt like playing literally the same 2008 game which is ok because its still great, but Callisto's melee/force/gun combat felt original in comparison. I still prefer TLOU2 though. Callisto's graphics though are legit amazing. Sucks the game flopped.
Can you help me please? I bought the Philips PML 9008 Mini LED few days ago. 4K HDR Picture looks great if i use the installed Apps (RUclips, Netflix) at the TV System. But on the PS5 the image is blurry, HDR looks washed out and black colors looks like grey. I tried everything but the Picture at the PS5 remains bad.
@@sfk-fjordan I'm not a fan of OLED because they burn in (I've had bad experiences with OLEDs). The TCL QM8 is a Mini LED TV and it is very close to an OLED.
@@Solid_GGG I never experienced any burn in with an LG TV but it’s your choice. I’m even using my TV (LG CX55) as a PC monitor. You can only get real black with OLED or you will have elevated blacks forever cause of LED. There is always background illumination.
Doent lowering the black point correction to the lowest crush shadow detail? The pipes on the ceiling lose their details in the calibration image. Been playing this and agree its great! Would love to see you revisit NFS Unbound.

The HDR game mode is usually comparable with HGiG. It's not a commercial standard like Dolby vision is, so some manufacturers call it something different. Even on my LG C9 it's called HDR game. Only on the later models they call it HGiG.
The PS5 does not support Auto-HDR. For games that do not come with HDR out of the box, the SDR image is only displayed in an HDR container and the image is brightened. Only the Series X has Auto-HDR, thanks to Mircrosoft's AI technology, similar to RTX-HDR from NVIDIA. Look for a comparison video on this channel, Markus explains it very good.
I need to do more testing but in games with a good native HDR support I would never recommend RTX HDR. In this game it would be worth a try even my settings are pretty good IMO

totally agree. the dead space remake was fine but callisto flashed me more XD

Did you even calibrate HDR properly on your PS5?
Look for a video on this channel how to calibrate your console.

Even without HDR this game looks washed out because the designers think there should be fog everywhere in this game. Totally stupid.

SDR vs Auto HDR ???
The PS5 does not support Auto-HDR. For games that do not come with HDR out of the box, the SDR image is only displayed in an HDR container and the image is brightened. Only the Series X has Auto-HDR, thanks to Mircrosoft's AI technology, similar to RTX-HDR from NVIDIA.

I’m curious, why not just use RTX HDR and set the Nits to your TV’s brightness? Wouldn’t that give the game correct HDR and specular highlights?
I need to do more testing but in games with a good native HDR support I would never recommend RTX HDR. In this game it would be worth a try even my settings are pretty good IMO
