    HPylori can really be something. I have been battling with it for sometime now. I learned that HPylori releases an enzyme that turns urea into ammonia, liquifying the gel like protective mucus barrier to penetrate the wall or walls of the stomach in order to reach the cells. At this point it can really be problematic.

    Great presentation! I work mainly with clients who have been diagnosed with HP infection. Some are really suffering especially with the antibiotic treatment. Do you follow through with gut repair and introducing stomach acid?

  • @theseeker1948
    @theseeker1948 Год назад +21

    I’m confused about lowering stomach acid in order to have a better outcome. I thought HP would thrive in a low acid environment. Also, you didn’t mention oregano oil as an anti microbial.

    • @valbonalumani4327
      @valbonalumani4327 Год назад +3

      this is what I was thinking, maybe it could be that the antibiotics do not work as well in acidic environments even if the acidic environment will make it inhospitable for h pylori.

    • @michellegresham6865
      @michellegresham6865 9 месяцев назад +13

      She said in podcast that they do thrive in low acid so antibiotics can kill them better. In high acid when they are threatened, they morph into more resistance forms and burrow deeper in stomach so its harder to treat

    • @MeredithMilton-fn3ht
      @MeredithMilton-fn3ht 9 месяцев назад +2

      She said for the pharmaceutical antibiotics, they work better at higher pH (suppress acid) but the herbal antimicrobials do better with some acid.

    • @andrewwitham8493
      @andrewwitham8493 7 месяцев назад +5

      The lowering of the stomach acid is so that that antibiotics can actually reach the bacteria and kill the infection. Otherwise alot of the antibiotics would just be eaten up by the stomach acid.and never reach the actual bacteria or infection sites.

    This frightens me as my brother died at 48 with stomach cancer and my mother at 52 with colon cancer therefore I am being watched by my gastro Dr. I just had my colonoscopy and endoscopy which revealed I have H Pylori. It is especially concerning for people with a family history so eradicating this in my gut is essential. I’m on the antibiotic treatment and with its failure rate I feel discouraged.

      I have been on 2 separate rounds of antibiotics for HPylori and still have it. I am just now starting to take Berberine and have radically changed my diet. I am 80% bedridden due to the nausea and pain in the stomach but having to take a roll in learning all I can to help myself. The doctors are trying but still feel like I am slipping through the cracks here. But I am a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and with Him there is always hope no matter our struggles. Be encouraged my friend, there are many of us out here battling this HPylori with you🙏

    As H. Pylori cannot thrive in acid environments (it needs to squirt UREASE to diminish the acid) , would it not make sense to increase stomach acid as part of the H Pylori treatment? Is increased stomach acid contraindicated because it diminishes the efficacy of the antibiotics?

    • @flamingpieherman9822
      @flamingpieherman9822 6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, that's exactly what you need to do is increase your stomach acid. However, before you can increase the stomach acid, you have to start killing off the h pylori... I just read about the sea salt cleanse that actually does that for Candida...
      Watch doctor berg. He has a video from a year ago about anemia... And it mentions the stages of care that you need to take

Zinc Carnosine seems to just protect but does it restore? How about Wormwood (the regular or the Sweet version) - supposedly it increases mucus production?

      Bro. I know your frustration.
      The gi map is the most sensitive test for h pylori. That's how I found mine. I'm going to attempt to eradicate my h pylori with "matula tea" and "manuka honey"
      I have Parkinson's like symptoms as well. I told my naturopath doctor about it and he put me on a vitamin b1 protocol for it. I think it really helped. I'm still battling the h pylori and gastritis too though. If you want I can share the exact protocol.
