Truergm is the best, but I think his uploads are TOO long. Being a good editor isnt about showing everything, it's about knowing what to show and what not to show. Showing routine ground balls to 3rd or walks when the walk doesn't score are things that shouldn't be shown, because how is that a "highlight"? That would be like someone uploading NBA highlights and showing freethrows.

Sure, he produced at the plate, but all he had to do is run hard, and this game is tied and maybe plays out differently. Sick. Can't stand when guys do that.

But when Scherzer threw that pitch in the dirt and walked Alvarez, you can see Kurt Suzuki tap on his his chest protector saying "My bad." Does anyone know why? Did Suzuki call a pitch that Scherzer didn't want to throw but called it anyways and it backfired? Or was it something else?

I've wanted Washington to win a series since 2012. I feel like they often got the short end of the luck stick in the playoffs. I was cheering for Houston in this WS by a hair over Washington cause they were simply the better-built team on paper and played better throughout the regular season. I was conflicted.....that is until I found out Houston cheated. Now I can finally be happy about my conflict and say the Nats REALLy deserved this WS more. Glad they did it without Harper and with Adam Eaton too, former White Sox.

Even Hank Aaron has stated all Astros should be banned from baseball for life. That is exactly been my stance since this news came to light. MLB just wants to move on; however, this will not bode well for baseball or MLB. Sayonara. Rest in peace or live in a state of denial. David

19:07 This is why watching the ball after you hit it, instead of running hard, makes you an idiot.
Instead of hopping down the 1st base line, acting like some sort of excited/hopeful spectator, Springer should have been running hard from the moment he hit the ball. If he had done that, he would've been on 3rd when Altuve did this...19:42.
With only 1 out, Springer would've scored EASILY, tying the game, 5-5. Instead, he was left on base, they went to the ninth, and the Nationals hung on for the 5-4 victory.
Instead of going to extra innings, with a better than 50/50 chance (cheating, and at home) of winning, in a series Houston could've won in 5 games, the Astros lose Game 1, 5-4, in a series they lost in 7.
And all Springer had to do was run. Not build a nuclear reactor. Not cure cancer. Not solve world hunger. Run. This is Forrest Gump-simple. Just run George. How hard is that? Run hard, win World Series. Hot dog it, lose World Series. Your choice.
It's like it's some sort of newsflash that not running out of the box can cost you a base, which can cost you a run, which can cost you a game, which in a playoff series, can cost you the series. And if it's in the World Series, can cost you a championship. AS IT DID HERE.
I've lost track of how many dopes think standing at home plate, admiring your home run is part of the game, because it always gets you on SportsCenter. Hitting a HR to help your team isn't enough. Gotta make sure the whole world is looking at you and knows how "bad" you are. Acuna alone (for Atlanta) has done it now, what, 3 times in Atlanta? He gets benched, but he still does it again. Even in the playoffs.
Well, this lack of focus, screwed-up priorities, style-over-substance, "hey everybody, look at me!" approach has now officially cost a team a World Series. As a fan of the game for nearly 50 years, it absolutely disgusts me. You'd think these morons don't get paid enough to hustle on every play.
My dad had an offer from the Boston Braves after WWII. He taught my brothers and I to play. I grew up watching Pete Rose run out BASES-ON-BALLS for crying out loud. I played center field & switch-hit, like my dad, for nearly 25 years. And I never stood & watched a single ball I hit. I ran. When it cleared the fence, then I jogged. And when it didn't, I applied pressure to every outfielder I ever played against. They knew if they made even the slightest mistake, I was gonna be on 2nd or 3rd. I never cost my team a run because I couldn't be bothered to hustle, 'cuz I had some admirin' to do. And I never got paid a penny.
How much do these guys need to get paid in order to hustle? SMH
