My friend mora has been famous before RUclips was created.
This clone isn't any worse than my 80s mora. 8 $aud from the bargain bin at the hardware store. I got what I paid for. My $8 Mora didn't cut well, and didn't hold a sharp edge very long. On the plus side, the steel was not as bad as Victorinox, so I could use the knife as a mini prybar for very light duty tasks. They have better steel models now but they also cost more. Mora companion $40, Mora Bushcraft $ 100, Mora Garberg $240. Not exactly, cheap knives.

Good thing you guys didn't get hurt doing these tests. It's a shame that despite being a replica of Mora, the quality was still poor and price was higher. Good job!

I remember this guy (Noss) doing these destruction videos and he did wear a lot of protection. He stopped after getting injured. If I remember correctly the point of a knife broke off and hit him in the neck under his full face mask. So be careful.

I just used my Mora fillet knife this weekend on a batch of perch. My Robust hangs over my work bench and I have a Basic in the toolbox and a basic in the house. And for what they want for that scam, I could just buy everything I already have and still saved money.
I wouldn't mind seeing some BPS knives tested. Very similar to Mora (one is basically identical) but with nice leather sheaths and wood handles (and full tang). They're made in Ukraine and sold on Amazon for nice and cheap, $30USD or less. They say 1066 carbon steel. Obviously soft and rusts easily but probably tough and they're very easy to sharpen.

@DBK please do u have reviews on large knives/machete? No longer than 18.5 over all length as it's needed for horse back need a good cutter (camp 10 Kershaw nice but not totally functional and Gerber small gator cuts overall better than it but I want something better quality)

jakaari is great, but its thicker than mora . i carry my pukko 110 when outside in nature, and companion/robust rest of the time. Dont know about pathfinder, but i absolutely LOVE skrama. that thing is a beast :D .
Path finder isn't worth it . Normal bush craft makes more sense . If you want a big knife get the one that I won't attempt to spell .

One you need to test: the fake Bark River Bravo knives made in China by a brand called PSRK. Supposed to be made of 14C28N. G10 handle scales and kydex sheaths.

Hultafors is not a Morakniv clone. Just two different brands of Swedish work knives.

@@A-G-F- Mora is a city where the knife factory is. They made knives for manufacturers and these manufacturers later fused into the Morakniv brand. You can't just say that any scandi is a clone because that would be saying Morakniv is a clone also of the original Finnish puukko.
So now Morakniv becomes a clone?
Hultafors has been making tools for the craftsman for a long time, including axes, etc. The handle of the knives are different, the blade shapes and thickness. Mora made thin blades and after the Hultafors GK they produced the HD series to keep up.

I say go for broke and compare a $900 Grimsmo Norseman in RWL-34 vs. the $300 Chinese knockoff which uses M390. I'd be really curious to see if the Chinese version is actually functionally a better knife.

VictorInox have huuuuge amount of clones. Some of them kinda on par since they are cheaper... but most of them such a huge pieces of crap that you wished that you bought a real thing.
I guess you can buy a huge bunch of them to compare with a real Victorinox. It's also laughable that some of the clones can't even sharp the bloody awl and just put it there just because.
imho; you should have smashed the 'clone/fake' Mora edge into a real Mora Heavy Duty Companion edge. The Mora might cut the fake blade in two ..we must investigate!
