Thank you very much, we Love your Videos. I am 57 years old and my wife 50 years we Start to skate weeks ago. You help us so much .❤ Greetings from Munich Germany. Thanks so much.
This seems doable Katie. Your channel is absolutely the best. You are so sweet and humble. Love you! 💋🫶🏻🛼 ps. Love your hair colour. You are such cutie pie!
Oh that jiggy toe! Is there a trick to avoid it when using the stop in that position to actually stop? Or is it something we just learn with practice? (I don't like practicing it 🤭 but sometimes it's needed). I liked this move too. I always keep my weight on the back foot, gonna practice it that way too 💚
If you want to stop with the toe stop forwards like that. Turn the toe and hip out so the back foot makes a T. I talk about it in this video at 0:48 ruclips.net/video/PgV2IOE7Zxc/видео.html
I've worked on this a few times, but I can't do it unless I lift up front wheels on the front skate. Bonus, it works with toe stop in (absolutely can't do any of that with the brakes in and I don't have plugs yet)
If you need to lift your front wheels to do scissors, your legs are probably too stiff while you do it. Try bending your knees more. And whatever you do, have fun out there.
Thank you for suggesting this. So smooth. They use the technique I’ve suggested here but so many others too. There’s just something so fabulous to see all the skaters together in unison. I’ll definitely be watching more of this. Thank you
Help!!😢my sure grip fames won’t allow for it…toe stops are bolted on? Should I upgrade my skates to adjustable ones and do you have any recommendations? Thanks!
You need to have movement in the trucks to get good inside edges but I actually find too much movement in the trucks makes the foot on the toe trucks hard to control.
Yes! This happens to me too. Try adjusting the amount of weight on that foot. You should find a sweet spot. For me it’s not having much weight on it at all as my trucks are super loose it goes crazy! 😂

I can truck and this is correct!
It’s a great feeling 💕💕⭐️⭐️👍
great explanation. Been working on my trucking trying to make it look smooth
It looks so smooth doesn’t it. Love how it just flows around the floor.

@@Skatie thanks!
I like to organize my favourite Skatie videos into playlists so I can find things easier - I'm sad that I can't "save" this video
Oh really? That’s very odd. I’ll check I haven’t ticked something by accident.

Take your time to take those toe stops out. Make sure you’re ready. Have fun! 🤩💕🛼😎

Omgggggg thank you so much for this
It’s so much fun. ⭐️💕👍
Search Semoran skateway shuffle skate to see this in action. There is a particular way of tackling the cornering at the ends of the rink.

So like front dips without lunging?
Yes, kind of the same thing.
Help!!😢my sure grip fames won’t allow for it…toe stops are bolted on? Should I upgrade my skates to adjustable ones and do you have any recommendations? Thanks!
If you feel you’re ready you can change out the toe stops to jam plugs. I’m pretty sure Sure grip do jam / dance plugs for bolt on skates.
Do I need to loosen the truck to do good trucking
You need to have movement in the trucks to get good inside edges but I actually find too much movement in the trucks makes the foot on the toe trucks hard to control.
me too!
💕💕⭐️⭐️
Whenever i go on my front truck thats behind me, my leg starts to wobble everywhere for some reason
