When you have a whole Home Depot at your disposal, you can make anything float. @@nickmilo932 It seemed like it wasn't pushing hard enough. He eventually got it aimed the right direction but it still didn't work well. I'm guessing it has to do with propeller vs fan geometry and/or water vs air.

Michael won in my heart, did a lot of good work helping the other teams with power tools and tried to challange himself beyond just being solo by motorizing his boat.
also his boat was much better than the others, and if he used a paddle from the start he would definitely have won

A good idea would be to have put some rocks inside each bucket. This submerges it slightly and makes it more stable. It will prevent the boat from flipping up and down from your own weight
