The manual states that because of the buffer it is necessary that the preset is active for 5 seconds in order for spillover between presets is operational. By quickly jumping to a preset and then not settling on it, you’re causing it to glitch. I would recommend testing a normal use case. Scroll through and pause for 5 seconds. Then scroll again and pause. See if it still locks up.
