Its the correct way to counter monored, let them finish the dailies faster so they can go back to call of duty and leave people who actually like mtg in peace.
I just played a deck like this in a standard showdown store championship today and just got steam rolled by aggro again and again, which is really sad because it’s fun to play. I’ll keep playing it and see if I can find more matchups against midrange and control where I think it does better.
At 18:13, what was the point of targeting yourself? It's not like you had enough life to use Kaervek effectively, and the difference between 4 and 3 life was pretty significant.
I wish Arena wasn't so expensive to play. I grinded F2P Brawl for months to be able to build a standard deck from all the rewards I earned, but I couldn't make the manabase :(
usually when I see bad plays I dont make comments but WHY DID YOU TARGET YOURSELF WITH TINY BONES WHEN YOU CALLED THAT THEY HAD LIGHTNING STRIKE?!?!?!?!?!
Sometimes Crim has great videos and sometimes he has videos where he just verbatim reads what's happening in the game. "Alright so we're gonna play this swamp in order to have more mana, and we're gonna cast this go for the throat targeting their Sheoldred cause that's a big threat."
10:45, you missed lethal. Cast Gix's Command, choosing modes "Put two +1/+1 counters on up to one creature. It gains lifelink until end of turn" and "Each Opponent sacrifices a creature with the highest power among creatures they control." This commits a crime, putting Vadmir to a 5/5 (3 counters) then resolves, killing the Atraxa and putting Vadmir to a 7/7 (5 counters). With four counters, Vadmir gains lifelink and *menace*. Menace allows Vadmir to swing past Kaervek for exactly lethal damage. Looks like a fun brew, though. I'm definitely a fan of plan "establish early clock, hold up mana, see what happens."
I don't think that it was actually lethal, because Gix's command doesn't commit a crime. None of its modes target an opponent, or anything they control. I think Crim still should have gone for this line though, Vadmir has menace and leaves his opponent on one life with a 3/4 and a 6/6 menace creature to deal with.
@@finnpeterson4335 You are correct, but he did miss a win by choosing to dig with Marchesa and not holding up Bitter Triumph. He couldn't have known that it would win for certain, but I think it is the most likely path to a win (and would have in this case) if you assume the opponent will Brainstorm Breach on top and then Etali into it and just hope what Etali hits in your deck is a miss.
@@Duall8 I think pumping up the Vadmir more is more important than just keeping up the removal spells. When Vadmir has menace and another lethal attacker on board, AND Crim still having two removal spells that could kill anything in his opponent's deck, it was exceedingly unlikely for his opponent to be able to play enough blockers/removal to get him out of that scenario.
@@finnpeterson4335 I think you might be misinterpreting what I'm saying. If Crim chooses not to dig with Marchesa on the opponent's Pull turn when he targets Hidetsugu, he wins on the next turn because he can Bitter Triumph the Atraka/Kaervek and then Gix's Command to kill the other one on his turn and the opponent has no blockers. The reason it's not a full punt, though, is that he doesn't know what the opponent will get from Etali, and he might need the card from Marchesa, but I think he's too far behind in cards and has to go for the win right then and there.
Why targeting yourself with tinybones against monored when 4 life? AAAAAAAAAAAAAH
yeah im not sure what that was about either

To farm engagement from the comments section
We do a little punting
And Crim got omega punished for it too lol
Crime without the E (Crim from the team)
You old (I am too).
This comment deserves way more love than mine XD
🔥🔥🔥😂😂😂
In game 4 if you gix’s command to make them sac atraxa and put three counters on vadmir it would’ve gained menace and you could’ve swung for lethal

God that hearse draw against the reanimator was tragic

Just play Xmage. A F2P MTG game where you have every card.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a Grixis deck that isn’t a Crim deck.
Thumbnail goes hard
Only two tinybones joins up? Thats the best card in the deck
No views in 38 seconds? Bro fell off
I've been seeing this more and more. Is this like a RUclips commenter trend that's replacing "first", or what?
@AndrewS-vu4ji Yeah, I imagine it'll get old pretty soon

Please stop letting crim make videos. I'm here to see Seth.
You sure do talk about crim a lot for somebody who apparently dislikes him
Did Seth’s mom write this
thats hella cringe and I bet Seth wouldn't like to read this comment.
Its a group channel for a reason dude -_-
Yeah, the channel is called MTGGoldfish, but I have yet to see a goldfish!!1
Sweet deck, Crimothy!
