Fruit first as it digests so much faster than cooked and dried foods. Always have your juiciest fruits first like watermelon THEN cantaloup. Some people can eat whatever and have fruits afterwards and be fine but they have an iron stomach. When you are trying to heal your gut issues, you want to slowly incorporate new foods, and in a proper way. Such as the juicy fruits first, and then the more fibrous thicker fruits, like mangos and bananas, and papayas after the juicy fruits. If you try fruit till noon, you will see a huge difference. Well, you might, a lot of other people do. And then go for your salads with your protein, and then your cooked foods afterwards because salads and fresh vegetables Are also good for your gut because it’s produce/Fibre. So definitely try that and incorporate new foods slowly because that can also upset your digestion. Especially cruciferous vegetables, i.e., broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, sometimes even cucumbers, but technically cucumbers are melons. also always remember to wash and peel your produce because you never know what they’re spraying on them who’s touched it and what germs, bacteria and sicknesses could lie on it. Hope to see you healing well.❤ One last thing.. your body is meant to expand and contract, not just be perfectly flat all day 😉💝
Great tips! I have a lot of gut issues. I am intolerant to gluten, lactose, and soy. (Soybean oil is in EVERYTHING packaged, and every restaurant out there, so traveling is my worst enemy.) These tips are the same ones I use to keep my gut in check!
You don't know how much you are right with each subject you mention. I'm trucking you and Alex on your trip and I'm very surprise to see how you manage with the routines we need to sacrifice to stay on shape. Enjoy your trip ❤
Hi Pernilla, I've seen all your videos because I love your energy. I am a functional nutritionist that helps people heal their guts. Food poisoning can activate antibodies that decrease your intestinal motility, making you a lot more likely to be bloated. Overtime, this can lead to SIBO. This can help explain why your symptoms have been worse! Unfortunately, the lactose in all of those dairy products is highly fermentable so can produce a lot of trapped gas. Let me know if you'd like more help getting your gut optimized!
Pernilla I am watching your vlogs since years ago and I really really appreciate you so so so much you are my inspiration and I wish you have a blessed weekend🤗✨💖
La Fortuna/Arenal is a MAGICAL place. So glad you did this video from there. Curious to see how your gut journey continues. We have significant digestive issues in our family too. Can make life miserable. Have fun on your adventures!!
I've struggled like you with my gut and like you I've tried everything. The past year I've had only a few flare ups. But what has worked best for me is everything opposite to what I believed. I reduced my protein to 80g and am eating much more processed foods gluten free and dairy free. Feel so much lighter and still gaining muscle. Yet I always believed high protein whole foods.
@teaandcrumpet yes I have and took HCL with pepsin. I just cut my protein down to around 80g and feel so much better on higher carbs. But everyone is different 😊
Plzz tell me how sn someone have a vocation and maintain physique.. like how many minutes should I exercise a week or day I wanna go travel but obviously not everyplace has a gym
Honestly, imo in vacation we should balance things out. While Pernilla is actualy already very lean, its easier to maintain that physique by being active, balance healthy and guilty foods and such. But she is, Already Very Very lean.. so its easier for her to maintain that physique. In vacation, be active.. more steps, enjoy some activities.. do some body work.. and enjoy the break. 😊
@realisticfit burning calories is no problem in vocation or eating less or healthier . I mean maintaining my strength...I always lose my strength when I go to travel and go back doing 15lb curls from 25
Love your comment 🤣...I was just thinking to myself..who says something like that! Clearly an individual that has some self love to do...thanks for the chuckle!@@lucasetienne1079
Great video! For the whole month of May, I've been working on my bloated belly hecause its so uncomfortable. I limited FODMAP foods but im so sure my issue is with wheat. Compiling footage for my video but definitely not as interesting as yours 😂

Yes! When you work your core, your bowels move as well, it's SO good for you! ❤

Have you checked your stomach acid levels? Protein can be hard when your stomach acid is low.

I am really sorry you got food poisoning and I am glad you are feeling better.

"Koldskyr?"😂
The way you eat, its inevitable to have a poor gut. And more you are in 30s age you will know more.
On the list of most useless comments ever written, this is up there with things like “For me, personally”
Love your comment 🤣...I was just thinking to myself..who says something like that! Clearly an individual that has some self love to do...thanks for the chuckle!@@lucasetienne1079
