Awesome sound man, best sounding n20 I’ve heard so far. I’ve had my 2015 n20 since 2018 and I love how the single turbo setup sounds, I hate the farty noise when accelerating with stock turbo so your setup might be the way to go.
How’s your internals holding up? Does the internals handle the big turbo? How much psi you running and how much horsepower the car making? Sick car boss I want mine to be on the same level while maintaining reliability
Stock internals are fine as long as you stage the boost to have torque come in after 3500 rpm +/-. Stock internals handles 25-26 psi with no issues as that maxes out this turbo setup and is the current setup. 93 octane is around 350-360whp on a dynojet, full e85 (closer to e80 pump locally) is around 380-390whp on a dynojet.
Sure. I'm not exactly the best content creator or anything, but i should have some dynos of the current setup and showing y'all whats possible on stock block with every part off the shelf + custom tune
@@Sqwin_n20 nah bro it’s sick af that ur doing that i haven’t seen any other n20 as cool as yours and posting dynos n launch’s, i’m def gonna mod my 320i more after seeing these, i only got stage 1 bm3 with a muffler delete and i’m feeling like i’m in the sickest car ever
Yeah with a tune a d big turbo 420 430 is possible...there are a lot of weak points under the hood that should be changed out prior though...fuel pumps, radiator flange, boost and charge pipes, intercooler, etc
How much for everything? Well, just the turbo and custuom tune? Rn im fbo stage 2 bm3 on my 320i, but my turbos going out and im eirher gonna get a new/ low km oem turbo or aftermarket
@@Sqwin_n20 ahh gotcha it’s because on the website it says n20 haha thanks, I’m looking forward to getting the same turbo as you do! I can’t wait to make it a sleeper bro!
It's great. standard maintenance (plugs, coils, fluids, gaskets) + replacing aging parts for preventative maintenance. 145k on the stock motor (25k on this turbo) setup as of today 12/30/22
@@Sqwin_n20 Thanks for the update, that makes me feel better about my car lol. this is my first bmw and i love it but i have been a little worried about beating on it due to all the bmw stories but it seems they are all from people that never owned one. i have had mine 4.5 years and only issue was a leaking oil cap assembly gasket. thanks again.
BMWs are very robust with the exception of the v8 and v10 engines. I basically ran my 128i without coolant for 6 months and it still ran when I traded it in lmao. I have experience with mercedes too they seem to be less reliable but not too bad. Audi's reliability record gives the others a bad rep. No experience with Volkswagen.
I can’t speak for sure, but results should be similar with the high compression version. High compression comes with more risks due to more timing vs boost. The problems is more on having consistent good fuel quality
@@benisgeorge8873 it’s up to you. I can’t make financial decisions for you. But it’s cheaper to slowly mod this if you have it than to buy another car and start over

Idk if you will still respond but I hope you do, I just got myself a 328i and wanted to know your exact build and if it’s been reliable
no issues for being tuned for 60k miles with this setup. Just built a motor because why not.
mods are all in the video descriptions

how much power now
