A "just to show the n20 can use all the speedometer" video. ideally would be in 4th gear at 90mph to start this pull for time. Simulated in Cuba with Vin Diesel at the wheel.
This simulation was conducted on 98 Ron or 93 octane fuel with a full tank of gas with an additional 200lbs or misc things inside the vehicle.

Fun run. 228i estimated to make around 300whp, 328i is around 340whp. I have a n20 and I’m really considering doing this to push some serious power not like 1000 or anything but more around 600 hp my only question is is it truly worth it I’ve done my research and the cost will for surely not be low but that’s expected my question is is it worth it because apparently there’s no big power n20s rolling around granted they probably didn’t have everything we have available now but in your personal opinion is it worth it in terms of price to power ratio once you get way up there especially compared to other 4 bangers like the evos and stuff
If you want to go fast it’s a pay to play hobby. This costs less to build an engine block hardware wise good for 800-1000hp than an evo ix and evo x, and only weighs 100lbs more. Still need to account for fuel and drivetrain mods, as well as a big enough turbo to make the power you want. Your call.
Sounds great, hard to find someone that isn’t going for pops and bangs and rather just exhaust tone

@@carson4798 full exhaust (catless downpipe, no resonators, aftermarket muffler) all metal turbo inlet and all metal cold air intake.

How much power stage 1
Been following your build for a while now, definitely motivating me to grab an F30 328 not just a daily but a fun one at that. How deep are you into the build financially? I’ve seen your stock motor/stock turbo OTS dyno run & upgraded turbo/fuel system dyno run, the numbers look good for a dailyable 4 cylinder
Can only imagine how expensive it is to push power out of these things, cool.
Honestly its on par for any other 4 cylinder if you decide to fully forge + Darton/LA Sleeve it. sr20, b16, k20, ej25, etc stock motor people who don't know claim its a dud, but a couple boltons with "stage 2" off the shelf maps and a transmission tune is a high 12 and maybe 280-300whp on pump 93.

It should be spicy. a couple months out for sure before setting records. Headgames Motorworks did 2 videos of my cylinder head build. Can find it on their channel. I just uploaded a quick video as people kept asking me if it sounds like a monster with the forged internals and built head for some reason, I kept saying it sounds 100% stock so here's the proof with an easy link.

Awesome sound man, best sounding n20 I’ve heard so far. I’ve had my 2015 n20 since 2018 and I love how the single turbo setup sounds, I hate the farty noise when accelerating with stock turbo so your setup might be the way to go.

Give Dave a call over at la sleeve (lasleeve.com) and he can tell you cost for the sleeves + install. The rest of the parts you can buy off the shelf and calculate cost.

hpfp with a custom line yes, the m5 s63tu injectors fit but you need a tune to run them as they are nearly 50% larger than the stock injectors

@@goranmilosevic-vz2ne you are fuel limited with 98 Ron. you will need the bimmermilvs mod and utilize e85/race gas or methanol injection to get to 370-390whp with this turbo. and thats if you copy my setup 100%.

had any issues with the turbo? I heard this valve is not supposed to make this noise and I have the same on a brand new turbo, my last turbo exploded the turbine wheel through the exhaust and I have no clue if it was due to this valve or not, I'm waiting Forge Motorsport to answer me about this.

sure. just need a big enough turbo.
Yes it is however torque is the killer for N20’s not power they have the same internals as the N55 so whp can hit 400 just fine but torque should not exceed 370 ft-lbs there is currently no turbo available to get the N20 to 400 as far as I know the engine is solid.
How is the IM500 working out for you? how is the quality and reliability and did you have to build the engine internals to use it? I am seriously considering the IM500 or the bigboost600... which turbo do you think I should go with? thanks I appreciate it.
Not my car. But im500 all the way.l if you want 500 whp. 500whp will need upgraded internals to be safe. If happy with 450whp or so go im450. No internals needed for this power level on the im450. Cheers.

Spec stage 3+. Drives like oem but when you ask it to, it grabs and holds the power

Was the pr ignition kit worth it? Any noticeable difference in power/torque?
Yes and no. While it worked with the proper dwell times it was nice. 10 months into owning them they started to fail. So $474 paperweights after a year. So I say no.
