Power Steering Modification: John Deere Lawn mower Tractor. LA, D, E 100 Series D120, D130 LA135

Here I add Needle bearings to my Steering Spindles on my Lawn Tractor,

Without some type of boot or cover, sand, dirt, or debris will get under the rollers and destroy the bearings. Will it turn easier, sure for a little while. Then the bearings will fall out and your steering will be worthless.

I did this on my Deer can't say I noticed much difference 😢

Did you consider using the needle bearings while you had it apart ?

I just wanted to try it out to see if it made a difference. (It only helped maybe 10-15%)
