I actually love the new design of the Pixels (feel very iPhone-ish) which isn't a bad thing. They feel nice and premium but they also come with a price increase. The cameras are the BEST for android devices and take very natural photos out of body. SOLID!

I’ve an iPhone 14 Plus and I would like to try the Pixel 9 Pro XL, specially for the battery life. Photos look really good as well!
My wife did the switch with Pixel one and never looked back. She was going to with her school being all apple tried it and went back to the pixel. I highly recommend trying the switch!
iPhones typically have better battery life so I wouldn’t switch for that reason. But if it’s for the pixel experience then try it.

Oh how i want to upgrade from my 6a although my 6a works really good still i just want more technology. I'm starting my budget savings plan to pay for the phone in full without financing or being locked in a contract. Maybe next year in January the xl will be cheaper. Your video is very informative. You cover every aspect of each phone in detail. I really appreciate the good work you put in this video. You're awesome!

I don't think price is really that dramatic because Google doesn't want to be that cheap phone manufacturer anymore. They want to actually compete with Apple and Samsung. Which is a really good thing to me. I'm loving my 9 Pro XL
They should compete with samsung and apple by making a better product, not a pricier product. It's not Samsung s24 ultra and tge 15 Pro max, and it definitely does deserve that price, because if you're buying the pro you need 256gb or more anyways.
So why did they put a 3 year-old TOC in it then? If they want to compete with Samsung, they need to get serious about hardware, and not just compensate with software.
Lol by that logic every phone manufacturer who wants to compete with apple and samsung just have to increase their price 🤣

I've switched from Samsung Ultra 22+ & I absolutely love the Pixel 9 Pro XL
Here in Australia the google pixel 9 models are more expensive than the iPhone 15 models especially the google pixel 9 pro fold

I managed to get this phone £300 off, which sold me on it over the s24. i was going to buy, and im enjoying the phone a lot. It is a nice change as I've only owned samsung phones.
No they can keep the Budget phone. If Apple had done the same exact design everyone would be praising it and saying how amazing it is ... The phone looks good. The performance is amazing! I'm enjoying my pro end of conversation

Can you let us know your battery stats over that 24hr period?
When i first got my s23u id get between 10 and 12hrs SOT over a 21hr average. I was intentionally pushing it and when i wasnt constantly watching something i knew the phone would last 2 days minimum. After the updates i rarely get 8hrs over 17 or 18hrs.

I don't know about you guys but I traded in my pixel 8 Pro and got $700 for it. So my new phone cost me $400 and that to me is awesome. So I'm pretty sure everyone that bought this new pixel phone didn't pay full price because majority of people are trading in their older devices

First ... You say you're disappointed that it no longer feels and looks like a Pixel but later you say you really like and approve of the design changes.

Doesn't the iPhone "pro" models start at the same price and storage?
Pro max starts at 1199 so $100 more than pro xl but comes with more storage

I played with the 9 pro xl today and had my pix 8 pro in hand to compare. Definitely zero improvements. wait for the 10. I've owned every pixel and only buy this if your last pixel was the 6

Hello Karl, All Google Pixel phones have a battery saver setting and so does their watches. If I remember correctly, charging the battery to fast all the time isn't good for it. No matter what pixel we have, we need to take good care of our phones. I also use the adaptive charging.
Samsung and Apple price gouge their products and services. I don't think Google does. Example: using an android or Windows device, youtube premium costs only $13.99 plus tax. Using an Apple device, you'll get charged $18.99+tax. When you subscribe to RUclips Premium, you also get RUclips music. Apple Music alone cast $10.99+tax Apple TV+ $10:99+tax. if you cancel your Apple Music Sub. Apple deletes all your playlists and the music from the music from their folders. Google doesn't do that. Even if you cancel your subscription for a while. I prefer Google for so many reasons. How many people remember when Apple was hit with an enormous fine for putting cheap batteries in their products? Their ecosystem is also way too expensive. Google is so much better.
Here in italy iphone pro max is stil 13% more expensive than the pixel xl. Let's see if inflation also hits the new iphones, I thibk pixels should be priced at 20% less than iphones to be considered a good price. Anyway trading in my older pixel 7 pro, I was able to order a pixel 9 pro 256gb for 680€ which is a pretty decent deal in my opinion.
All Google Pixel phones also have battery share so you can charge your wireless pixel buds.

I was going to try a Pixel phone this year, not paying $1200 however.
All the high end phone models cost that price. 15 pro max, s24 ultra, pixel 9 pro xl all cost around $1200. Meanwhile all their base models cost around $800 ish

The thing is google think they could get around with their tensor bad performance put it's not working and it won't work at any time the processers affect many aspects of the phone experience specifically the battery life and the camera capabilities they should consider using tsmc ships other than that the pixel lineup will die like alot of other google products did

So is this just basically a video complaining about price and how Google shouldn't make their phones more expensive? What doesn't get expensive over time? Do you do iPhone videos and then complain because the iPhone got more expensive? I work in the car industry every year. The cars get more expensive so should that be a surprise. They changed the whole design of the phone, updated the cameras, etc. So that means the phone's going to get more expensive. If you want a more budget pixel, can you go with the a series or the regular 9!

Also cant take reviewer seriously because 8/10 of them say the phone image look processed alot heavily hdr, this dude said the opposite. But anyway i stand with those channel that review all Android flagship around the world yearly, this channel clearly does not do that so cant trust them.
