Not really sure whether to buy a new phone or just stick with the one I have. See this is what Samsung is lacking and why I left for iPhone. They had it right when they made the note 10 and 10 plus. The S22 plus and on should’ve been the ultra in a smaller version. The S24 plus should be a scaled down version of the ultra with the s pen and all if not most of the same features. Obviously smaller battery and screen, possibly camera but everything else identical. I don't care about any app. All I want from a phone is to be fast, take the best photos, and if possible to not be the size of a tablet. I already have all the apps I need. Too bad there is no improvement on the photo, and the phone is not the fastest. If the phone is a little bit slower in certain situations now, imagine how much worse will be in 4-5 years. My last phone that I am now looking to replace is 7 yo and it is a Note 8. The reason I am looking to Pixel 9 pro, is because the latest Note devices are really big.

I am guessing that the debate over Apple iPhones being more privacy focused is over or people just don't care anymore? Maybe Big Brother has finally just wore us all down?
There's one HUGE con you left out. The Google proprietary CPU chip Tensor G4 which on a good day is equivalent to a 2 year old Snapdragon 8 gen 1. That's a deal breaker for me.
Indeed, creators tend to avoid this issue. Initially, the Pixel's pricing reflected its less advanced chip, but now, with prices comparable to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, having a subpar chip is unjustifiable. It raises the question of why reviewers overlook this aspect.
I can save pictures view as previewed but videos are in opposite side if I put up my left hand in front facing video it shows that I have right hand up
After the one year of Gemini advanced, all the features will be locked behind a paywall and the phone will just be nothing more than a lackluster phone if I don't want to pay $20 a month for Gemini?
None of the pixel exclusive features have been locked behind Gemini Advance so far. They haven't mentioned any feature being locked besides Gemini Live. Why would they lock features now, especially when there were no mention of them being Gemini Advance feature? Lawyers would have a good time suing Google for false advertisement.

Please, content creators, if you don't use something it doesn't mean that is a gimick. I use temp sensor all the time, I would like Samsung to add this too.
Good video, but, please, focus more on WHAT PHONE GIVES and not if you use it or not, you review phones FOR OTHER PEOPLE not for you as an audience.
Wow photos have that oversharpened look...plus still no burst photo mode
Mike, Mike, Mike, Guess what day it is?!?!?! That's right, it's Mike's video day 😁
what s your pixel watch size ?
Personally. It's Outrageous for Google to charge for Gemini after a period of time. Their products are Already becoming quite expensive in England.
Does anyone know if the Pixel 9 Pro having 16GB of RAM means it is more likely to use more battery than the Pixel 9 base model? And if so, how significant would that be?
I don't care about any app. All I want from a phone is to be fast, take the best photos, and if possible to not be the size of a tablet. I already have all the apps I need. Too bad there is no improvement on the photo, and the phone is not the fastest. If the phone is a little bit slower in certain situations now, imagine how much worse will be in 4-5 years. My last phone that I am now looking to replace is 7 yo and it is a Note 8. The reason I am looking to Pixel 9 pro, is because the latest Note devices are really big.
Same here I am very tempted to get the pixel 9 pro but I have been watching the reviews and it looks like the tensor 4 is not much better than the tensor 3. I have the regular Pixel 8 for a little while but I ended up selling it cuz it would just get really hot when I was using it and sometimes the signal would drop but besides that I really like the phone camera was great speech to text was great to Google features really good but I'm going to wait for the P10 on this one
Let me get this straight, you're looking at a phone whose whole schtick is the Gemini app and how well integrated it is to the phone, and you say you don't care about any app😂🤦
@@medraut6599 yes. I do not care about any AI. If there was an S24 with S24 camera module, I would be looking at that. I want top tier camera, android if possible because apple turns everything else in to shit, and a smaller size phone. Do you have any recommendation aside S9 and iPhone pro?
Nice video
Dude! Is Nate O'Brien your brother??! You sound like him! 😅
Android is "Apple-ing" that whole magsafe thing, they'll eventually relent...both Google and Samsung..
The temperature sensor is like the flash you forget it there until you need
My music alarm didn't go off the very first morning after I got it, so I returned it
Thank FK Mike, I thought you were gunna slate it and I've pre-ordered it, but I'm upgrading from a Pixel 6 Pro, literally can't wait (and your sister is beautiful)
also I'd love to see a Xiaomi Watch Pro 2 review, because it's a Smart watch that actually looks like a traditional watch, I might just buy it anyway as it's mega cheap, but I don't know if it's better than my Samsung 42mm
Hi great video would my watch ultra galaxy, work with the pixel.
Does it have 3 button nav as an option?
Yes it does in the display settings
People still use that?
I am guessing that the debate over Apple iPhones being more privacy focused is over or people just don't care anymore? Maybe Big Brother has finally just wore us all down?
We told them we were tired with curved screen so they gave us flat screen and people criticize that again.
I can save pictures view as previewed but videos are in opposite side if I put up my left hand in front facing video it shows that I have right hand up
Will probably use the screenshot app for screenshots of sports betting slips
After the one year of Gemini advanced, all the features will be locked behind a paywall and the phone will just be nothing more than a lackluster phone if I don't want to pay $20 a month for Gemini?
None of the pixel exclusive features have been locked behind Gemini Advance so far. They haven't mentioned any feature being locked besides Gemini Live.
Why would they lock features now, especially when there were no mention of them being Gemini Advance feature? Lawyers would have a good time suing Google for false advertisement.
@@BananaBlooD9517@BananaBlooD9517 The on-device AI will not be behind a paywall for clear reasons. However, applications like Studio, which require data from cloud servers, will likely be subject to existing fees. Access to cloud-based services, such as video enhancements, will necessitate payment. Cloud usage is exclusively available for a charge.
When is Pixel Watch 3 review coming?
In case you missed it, I did make a first impressions video!
For the full review, it'll be another week or so until I have all my data collected
@@MikeOBrienMedia Yes I saw that. However waiting for the review to pre order it.
Philadelphia 😎
The complimentary Google one and Gemini is one year not 2 years
If I wanted and iPhone looking phone... I would buy an iPhone 😅 why is everyone copying apple!!!
Look, a rectangular phone, why is everyone copying Apple?
@@dibidibadibidibou wooow you must be blind lol 🤣
I think with RCS coming to iPhone...they think have have a good shot at getting people to jump over from iOS...so that's why they went with an iPhone like design
Cool phone but its only a minor upgrade.
It's crazy to charge for ability to call emergency. That should be illegal
The lense transition wasn’t smooth honestly
I dont know if some notice it in 5:09 there is something wrong it the video its moving ( not stability )
