Have a 660 03 had the same problem with the same bogging , there’s a connection cable below the foot shifter it’s probably dirty or wet clean it and it should solve it . It’s the only cable connected below the foot shifter
Thank you for the help Arely, I removed the cable and tried it all! Unfortunately no luck just yet. Even sprayed some contact cleaner but didn’t change a thing....
I have an 2002 and I had the same problem. If at anytime the old owner changed the carbs to am aftermarket or chinese carbs, that is your problem. You need to go oem and start with 120 and 125 main jets, test and go up from there. Don't go higher that 140 and. 145. Also, start with 2 1/2 turns out on the 1st air mixture needle and 3 on the 2nd, adjust 1/8 of a turn from there.
Delete the wire under the shifter. Run a wire from it to the ground on the battery. Cancels it out. There's a safety switch in your clutch perch for park brake. Delete that. If u don't want to delete that one, go the rear caliper with a mallet and tap the lever the park brake cable connects to and tap the lever towards the front of the bike and don't use the park brake again. There's another safety switch I think in the reverse switch. I could be wrong. It might be near shifter. Theres 2 wires behind shifter if I remember right. Clean em both and reconnect. That don't work, look up raptor rev limit delete on you tube
Believe it or not Dennis I did all of this already and no luck!!! I spent over 15 hrs trying to figure this out and nothing. I also did the rev limit delete but no luck, I’m contemplating either taking it to a shop or getting rid of it.... I have tried all kinds of Jets to super rich to lean nothing helps at all new spark plug Eveything you can think of:(
Try 2 #25 Pilot Jets or #146 left, #148 right if using Dynojet main jets or #160 left, #165 right if using Mikuni mains...Also you WILL need aftermarket needles and the only way to get the needles these days is with a Dynojet kit.

Yo Ace, my 2002 Raptor 660R is bogging out on deceleration after having your gear in the higher end of RPMS... Idles perfect and everything, parking break disconnected, every thing is grounded, perfect spark plug.... I did carb and air filter clean.... I am starting to run out of ideas...
at high rppm my raptor 660 2005 bogs any advice doing a carb clean tomorrow put new lines, fluids, gas , gonna do the spark ,it runs fine at low rpm barley hitting the gas but if i smash it jst bogs then goes then bogs then stays running fine till u go low rpm again
new carb on amazon for 50 bucks.. or take bowls off and clean all jets. make sure screws are set to stock. if all still good sometimes you just have to drive it a little bit and it will open up.. don't trust the idle only with no load rev put some load on motor
It can’t be the carbs I have cleaned them about a million times now. I even put new jets. I have taken the bike apart like a million times honestly I think it’s the Cdi or something electrical. :(
Yes still poggs with choke on unfortunately. I have about tried everything I swear lol and no leaks, tried with air box on and off... I bought those adjustable air screws and adjusted them like crazy.... at this point I’m calling it a loss honestly... :(
Anyone here ever tried removing the coolant pipe that connects to the coolant hose that leads up to the thermosate on a raptor 660 05 mine drips a little repaced the hose still drips
My first banshee from the auction gave me a month worth of problems lol. Thank god figured it out and honestly thank god it ran for a little because if not I would of gave up hope

I even fix this problem on my freinds 660 also by noticing that he wasint installing his air intake filter correctly . Somthing i learn was if this quad has a supper small air leak they will bog
I believe it’s going to be your jetting. Take the carb apart and make sure all 5 Jets are clean. Do you have a Instagram? There’s a great video I can send you which is very detailed and step by step.

what's up bro, It wasn't my Jets I actually went up 15-20 on the main jet and then down 10-15 and nothing changed. I actually found out the problem and will be uploading a video soon!
It was strange after I watched your video that mine was doing the same thing what I done to correct it was I disconnected the clutch sensor it's on the left handlebars not only did I disconnected but I bypassed it by plugging them together I've left the green with white Tracer plugged-in and grounded it to my ground wire at my engine case after I done that I haven't had that bogging issue but what seemed to make the difference is that handlebar switch on the clutch perch when I put those two wires together

I had to manually retract the park brake on the rear end to stop the Bog, it was like was partially set

Have you tried to test the ignition coil?
I have raptor 660 01 and I get that problem from water driving hard into it getting into the air filter

Check the rings on it or it might be the seal valve

Adjust the air screw, try a air box lid and stock filter, look for air leaks. Does it bog if you have the choke on?

Are you sure it’s dripping from that hose? I would confirm, if so I would buy new hose clamps

The above them your leak is coming from somewhere else. Possibly a micro crack.
Had that problem on my banshee🤣

Problem was my coil. Got a new coil and it was good as new

Any bad connection on the computer
Pretty much was a spark issue :( The Coil wasn't connected right due to previous owner cutting the wire and wrapping it around it lol
It could be the water pump ride it and up and down to see if it is

Idk if anyone had told u or anything but check ur carb ur jets may be getting less gas in the engine try to rebuild ur carb like just clean it

Now that I heard your engine on my computer It produced a different sound to me sounds like your rev limiter is kicking in when it's not supposed to
