Tracy my friend you are absolutely amazing. I love this scarf... so beautiful. And the idea of Decorating the wrong side of the fabric so that the right side still shows it's beauty is Genius. You're never to old to learn and no matter how long you been sewing you can always learn something new. Your channel has taught me so much about upcycling. I'm so thankful that you enjoy sharing. You're the best my friend. Never disappointed. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Hi Tracy my sewing sister. Finally a use for all my fur scraps! I will be making the scarf next. WOW that top youre wearing! I made one very similar this week! I love it. Lavoie Boho NC USA 2023
YOU are Such a Lovely Lady, and made Such a great video!!! Thank you for sharing your wisdom, style so Clearly. I appreciate you. Love the scarf!!! Blessings 🙌
I stumbled on your site by accident and I'm so happy I did! I love your ideas and your style. Thanks so much for sharing your fab talent with everyone here. :)
I love this scarf!! Got a fur cutting hack for ya, when I did costuming for theatre we would turn it on it's back and score it with a exacto blade. The hair wouldn't get cut at all, just the "skin", and therefore made less of a mess! Happy sewing!!!
Thank you so much for being so sweet and kind to share how to do this. I’m going to make one for my son for neon day at school. ❤. I love how you make a plain pretty into wow pretty.
Such a scrappy happy accessory! Makes the heart happy to hear of a viewers craft show success. Looks like you worked your scrap piles down pretty good with this project. ❤❤❤
I can’t believe how BEAUTIFUL YOUR CREATIONS ARE….ABSOLUTELY AMAZING…LOVE YOUR CREATIONS…YOU CREATE WITH SUCH ELEGANCE …GOD I WISH I LIVED NEXT DOOR TO YOU…❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing your space I got some good ideas to try, it’s just charming it feels like a cozy spot one could sit with a cup of tea and watch you work and get inspired.
You are so cool I used to so all the time when I was young I made all my own clothes then I had a nervous breakdown and couldn't sew so lately I started watching people sewing and I've done a bit of sewing then I found you you are so calming I really like your designs there so artistic
Just watched this video again (I watch all your videos more than once) I just want to say again how incredibly Beautiful your creations are... Gorgeous !!!! 🤩😄
I love your creativity! This is a gorgeous scarf, so unique. I used to make Olde World Style Santa's with fur coats that I collected from garage sales and goodwill. Now I know what to do with the leftover scraps that I couldn't convince my self to throw away. Thanks for the wonderful ideas.
I have to say you’ve done it again. You are absolutely amazing. I love love love this scarf. Thank you so much for your expertise sharing. I’m on the edge of my seat and cant wait for the next video. Just amazing you are. Thank you🎉
Que maravillas que haces, alucinooo !!!, ès todo tan precioso, tan "desgarbado-elegante" que ès una maravilla. Gracias por compartir tanta belleza, un abrazo fuerte desde Catalunya !!!!
You literally just made me crack up, riding down the road! "I cut cute things! It's just what I do." Folks are gonna think I've lost my mind! Side note, before someone says something! Im in a parking lot now. I'm not commenting while driving! 😉
I am excited to make one of these scarves, I have so much that I can use. I have been collecting clothes to take apart because of the fabric and embellishments. Thanks for sharing your techniques and making it so clear on how to make this.
Oh my gosh Tracy once again I just absolutely love your style your creativity. Thank you so much for posting all this stuff. I’m so inspired. I can’t wait to make some of this.
AMAZING! You are truly so talented and Amazing Traci! I’ve so many videos I need to catch up on of yours hopefully this week...but this scarf was Fabulous! Love everything you do 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Love it, again Tracy your ideas are fab, love the colours, but wouldn't use fur but that's personal choice, what makes out items unique..fabulous work x
Traci, you can cut the real fur with a razor blade on the leather side without touching the fur. This way, you won't waste any fur and won't have so much mess. 😊
Thank you Traci, your videos are part of my life now and I love your work, your imagination and your sweetness. I would like to know what type of fabric the scarf is, I have allot of polyester skirt but didn't know if they would be good for this type of project, Thanks so much for your hard work.
Omgosh you are so sweet, sooo glad you are here with me! Regarding the scarf, the skirt was either polyester or rayon or a blend. The original tag is long gone. I think your poly skirts will work just fine, I know I would use them.💞💞💞💞💞💞
I treat velvet like any other fabric for the most part. If you piece velvets together, you will want to pay attention to the "nap" and have each piece going the same direction. It can really chang color depending on which direction it is facing.🥰🥰🥰
Depends, I've use velvet as pay he's and the edges are raw. I've made velvet purses and the edges are finished. If I made a skirt (for example) I think w velvet, I would do a double rolled hem.
PLEASE NOTE..........AS SOMEONE WHO WORKS WITH FUR EVERYDAY.......USE AN EXACTO,CRAFT KNIFE OR BOX CUTTER!!!!! ANYTHING WITH A RAZER BLADE TO CUT YOUR FUR. WAY LESS OF FUR BEING CUT ON THE EDGES.

FUN!!! I imagine you use regular gold colored thread, or do you use metallic thread? Thanks for the ideas!
I use reg gold colored thread🤗🤗🤗
Just watched this again...Beautiful! Is it ok to sew over the sequins? Or did you sew around them? Ty. ❤
I sew over them, very slowly🤗💞💞💞💞
I have just started watching your videos and Love your process. Do you see up loose ends on lace or doily’s, or just let them frey?
Let them fray🤗💓💓💓
I have about a dozen black velvet jackets.....have you got any tips for working with velvet?
I treat velvet like any other fabric for the most part. If you piece velvets together, you will want to pay attention to the "nap" and have each piece going the same direction. It can really chang color depending on which direction it is facing.🥰🥰🥰
@@tmyershandmade978 do you just use raw edges zigzagged? I have washed and dried the velvets...no problem

Thank you, sweet lady💞💞💞💞
