I've got quite the selection, it'll cost ya, though, as I've put quite a bit of work into the motors and electrical systems to make the fans functional after sitting for many years, bearings are shot, they've not got a lick of paint left, and they don't get used because of the bearing situation
@@davida1hiwaaynet I somehow ended up with the grilles and bladeset from an old Dayton fan like the one you're talking about, never got the rest of the fan, and idk where I got the blade and grilles
@@davida1hiwaaynet If the bearings get noisy, some 85w140 non detergent will shut them right up if you can find it, works with all small Chinese motors, they take awhile to get going when cold, but once they get some heat in the bearings they come right to life and run quiet for many years without needing more oil since it's so thick and doesn't leak out
I feel bad for the warped plastic blades
i wish people brought me old stuff
Me too
lol me to
You can replace the bearings in those old oscillating fans, though it's hard finding high quality bearings that are the right size
awesome video man. I'm a fan enthusiast myself and wish to see more of this in the future.
The steel/iron fan blade might be from a dayton fan
I love that blue box fan its very unique.
dayton exhaust fan is like a box fan haha
The ceiling fan is not a Hunter. Its actually a GE ceiling fan from around the teens or 20's. The vents and the nose piece are a dead giveaway.
Kundo Fox ك
the blue sanyo fan might have the lasko blade
i like that blue box fan
you can put your hot soup over it xD
I like the 3 fans that works perfectly
nostalgia lol
yep lol

bro it's so hot I need to turn on the fan real quick
**fan spins slowly**
*that's much better*
i like all of those fan
Thanks for the information! I need to try to restore that one.
if your clip fan spins so slow because the motor capacity
I think the motor needs oil more than a capacity problem.
it just needs some oil dammit
makes sense. they are both very similar fans.
Yes, I have a few more. Those were just ones I hadn't had a chance to fix up yet.
davida1hiwaaynet r u going to clean the fans
can you please show us your oldest fans
kamu kipas nya tua tua
I want to find some dirty old fans like that to restore.

I have both the exact same sanyo and blue lasko fan ! But instead it of being branded as lasko its branded as Dayton !
Neat. I have seen the Dayton branded fans too. They seem to be equipped with 3-wire grounded cords, but otherwise similar.
@@davida1hiwaaynet I somehow ended up with the grilles and bladeset from an old Dayton fan like the one you're talking about, never got the rest of the fan, and idk where I got the blade and grilles
looks like ship propellers
and then there is me... one of your 'Old Fans'. :)
LOL that took me a while to 'get' but I finally got it! :)
Clip fan dosin work :(
Did you do a restoration series on the Hunter? I’d be interested in seeing that.
Thanks for the comment; but I don't have a thread on the Hunter. It's still as-is.
You should definitely do a series on it, you’re restoration work is phenomenal. You really go above and beyond
Thanks. Some day it'll happen... I hope. I have 2 lifetimes worth of projects and less than a lifetime remaining to do all them.
Haha, I can relate. Keep up the fantastic work
Broo you need to fix that blue fan 1:33
Why the clip fan spins slow
That fan needs to have its bearings oiled, so that the gummed up oil will be displaced and the shaft will spin freely.
do you still have them?
@Alexthefancollector Walker thanks!
The blue clip fan just needs some oil !
Did you oiled it already ?
Yes, it just needs oil! I have not oiled it. Also, I have not run it since this video. Still same condition. :)
Maybe so. They came from the same junk pile!
would you sell the lasko with its original base?
TheFanMan87 r
very struck
Poor clip fan
It's sad. But it's in storage and not in the dump so at least it's got that going for it..... :)

why Blue fan not working
