Kalaheo comes in sizes XS (S, M, L) XL, 2X, 3X (4X, 5X). The updated version of Kalaheo was made with our Limited Edition Affirmation Fingering yarn. This 100% upcycled wool blend includes a mix of various types of wool and features a more "rustic" feel, while still remaining scrumptiously soft. This 4-ply yarn is wonderful for shawls, scarves, cowls, sweaters, gloves and mittens, hats, and more! 400 yds/365 m per 3.5 oz/100 g skein.
Our updated version of Kalaheo was made with color Be Deliberate Affirmation Fingering and used 2 (3, 3, 4) 4, 5, 5 (6, 6) skeins. A total of 750-2250 yds (686-2057 m) were used.

The original version of Kalaheo was crocheted with our scrumptious CashSilk Sock yarn in color Lavender Tea. The original version used 2 (3, 3, 4) 4, 5, 5 (6, 6) skeins.

I just got this yarn and boy! I have to say that this yarn is so but so soft feels like a teddy bear or cotton soft.,, this yarn met my expectations beyond what I suspected. I highly recommend this yarn 🧶

What a cute top! Exactly what I want to wear this time of year, I'll have to make it. I always love when you release crochet patterns. The designs are always so lovely. Are there any plans in the future for any Tunisian patterns? If so, I would be over the moon to see what you and your designers come up with. Your yarns seem so pillowy, I can only imagine how squishy and nice it would feel worked up in Tunisian crochet. Either way have a beautiful day!

Yes, this was designed with our CashSilk sock yarn, which is a fingering-weight yarn.

Could I use Yarn Bee Authentic hand dyed super wash merino wool yarn? I have some really pretty colors that would most likely look great in this pattern.
Hi Tonja, yes that yarn should work for the Kalaheo pattern. The skein yardage is almost the same but you should definitely gauge swatch to ensure the perfect fit.
