This so simple, but so nice. It gives the possibility of adding longer sleeves and/or make the body shorter or longer, add scallops around neck line. Just very clearly explained.

I think it is great that you begin with the slip knot since most written patterns just assume you already know this, but a beginner may not.

Just completed with same color ❤**For the body of 15 rows,we need to use the invisible joining stitch method. Otherwise the long visible line could be clearly seen which is not a pleasant sight to look at

Hi! At 8:46, you said to repeat the round 2 more times and I ended up with a total of 14 rows, but when I counted your rows after you did those three rounds of one double crochet in each stitch, you had 15 rows in total. Did I do something wrong? Please reply! Tysm!

Unfortunately I don't think my Spanish is good enough to be able to translate all my videos and blog posts :( The time it would take would mean that there would be way fewer patterns and tutorials posted :( Hopefully one day I'll be able to hire a translator that can translate everything! If you check out the blog post the pattern is available for sizes XS-3XL and you might be able to google translate the written sections and then translate the specific terms for the stitches.

I am in India and do not have access to this yarn. I was able to find 6ply yarn. What should I be concerned about? Do you think replacing 10ply yarn with 6 ply would be a good idea?
I have a question. Is this top see-through? if I wore a tank yop underneath could you easily see it? Another question I have is how long does this normally take to make?
Hi Sophia, I find that this top isn't see through, I've just worn a skin coloured bra underneath and you can't see it :) The amount of time completely depends on your size and how fast you can crochet, but I think this project took me about 5 hours :) Grace

I would say maybe 2-3 weeks? I made my first v neck during that time and it was my first clothing.
Love the design of this top and plan to crochet it soon 🤩...would it make much of a difference in size or number of stitches, if I use a thinner yarn with a 3.5 or 4mm hook??
Hi Fernanda, for this design it probably isn't the best idea to use a thinner yarn because that will make your gauge change and you need a very precise number of stitches to crochet the scallop hem. You can always use this pattern as a guide and alter it to work with a different size yarn but I can't guarantee that it will look like the sample.

Your website makes reading your patterns impossible. I have never seen so many ads and so many that mess up the text so badly. I assume that that is to get people to go and buy your PDFs. But it’s just not fair and it doesn’t seem very nice to me.

hii! if you go into the description box, their should be a link to her website, and it gives the measurements of each size plus the adjustments to the pattern, so you could follow this video, but use the XL adjustments, im using the small instead of XS so thats what im doing :)

I have tried it twice and the chain keeps on being twisted. Is there a trick to make sure the first chain is not twisted??
Hi Em, I recommend placing your chain on a flat surface (a desk or table) and laying the chain flat then sl st into the 1st chain. It can be quite tricky to create the chain if you're crocheting with the work in your lap. I hope this helps! Grace :)

Hi Hannah, if you're familiar with top down crochet patterns then this pattern is definitely easy. If it's your first time I recommend just reading over the pattern and make sure to always count!
