Wow. The instructions are difficult to follow for a new crocheter. When starting ROW 2: do I crochet one double crochet, skip one stitch, crochet two double crochets (in the same stitch), skip one stitch, crochet one single crochet (in the same stitch), ending with one double crochet in the last stitch? It's hard to follow with out any astericks to tell me which is a starting stitch and which is an ending stitch.

I purchased your pattern from Lovecraft and there is an error in row 2. Please correct as it is very confusing when your video shows something entirely different.
I requested a refund as the pattern supplied is for the Cherry sweater, not the Marie sweater. You should get your act together before selling patterns on Lovecraft and wasting people’s time and money waiting for you to reply to emails. Shame on you!!
@@carolinelupul4325 yes the refund will be given to you at the end of the month. The pattern is for a Marie top not the Cherry it was just an edit error which has been corrected thanks to your observation. Being human I can make mistakes😥

Ooh alright. Then start about 6/10 rows before the end decreasing in every other row. Decrease to your liking

This is correct. Are you following the written pattern too? It can be helpful
