When a Stooge wants to mess with Moe...
...it's time to confuse the big lug with the old hand jive!
And it works, too--until he snaps out of it.
Note: I know I didn't get all of these, but I did find a good number of them.
Note #2: Thanks a lot to all who are coming up with ones that I missed. I'm going to collect them and try to do a sequel video.

Moe's biggest weakness. He had to follow a wavy hand.
He always falls for it. That's the only way the other stooges will defend themselves against him.

I Can Hardly Wait doesn't belong on here because Curly didn't hand wave Moe, plus Curly hand waved Bud Jamison in Crash Goes The Hash, but it was left out.
My favorite one was when Shemp made Moe hit his head on the floor. He just couldn't look away. LOL!
This always cracks me up everytime curly does this to moe.
When Shemp takes it down to the floor and slaps the floor, which causes Moe to bang his head n the floor. Comedy gold.
The howards and fine family would be proud and laughing always a classic to watch really enjoy and appreciate the 3 stooges always made my weekend take care thanks keep the laughs coming. Joe

I watched some of these shorts last night. This makes me laugh a lot more than expected.

I don't even remember that. I'm glad that happened.
The only other time something like that happened was when he told Curly to pick out two of his fingers and when he did, he tried to poke Curly's eyes. But Curly turn away causing Moe to break his fingers when he poked the back of Curly's head. Curly laughed about it, but then his eyes got poked. Same thing happened with Joe.
2:30 was even better. It wasn’t even a reverse smack, it just backfired for no reason!

This doesn’t include the best one ever with Curly‘s hand jive ending with water seltzer in Moe’s face.
Shawn Boggs-No Dough Boys (1944). He also did it to Moe in Yes, We Have No Bonanza (1939).

I’m sure there were too many of these; you missed the one were Curly makes a ‘strike’ while they’re ice men; and one where Curly is left out of ‘med locks’ before they satirize Hitler; etc.

In the clip from No Census, Not0r Feeling, after Curly hand waves Moe, I thought Curly was going to bop Moe on the forehead.

This gag always makes me laugh. Moe is like a cat following its prey or some toy.

As far as I know, you're actually missing three scenes of the hand thing.
1. Curly does it to Moe in the kitchen after Moe's head was crushed in the refrigerator in the short "Sock a By Baby"
2. There was a second one in Malice in the Palace in which both Shemp and Larry do it to Moe at the same time.
3. In "Times Out For Rhythm" Curly does it to Moe
