Hi abdul. Don't worry about signing the EIF. When the notary interview starts they will unlock the document and you will be able to sign it right there and then.

You can track the progress on your Epic Account. It will say when they have reached out to the uni. You can reach out to your uni at that point in time or earlier if you want to be proactive.

Hi Dr. Wajih In the last step u have mentioned about tracking the progress of the verification by the university. Is it verified electronically or through paper mail? And is it verified by the university or by the medical school? Could you clear this up.
Well see it might be different for everyone depending on how your institution operates. In my case it was my medical colleague that verified it electronically. If you want to know how it is for yourself then it would be worth speaking to an admin person in your university about it.

Ah that depends on how you register with the gmc. If you go through plab route then only MBBS degree. Don't worry about signing it. That process will be explained to you when you are on call with the notarycam.

What you upload depends on what you are trying to get verified and for what purpose. If you are doing this to register with the gmc via the plab route then you only need to upload your medical degree/diploma. It should say on their website what to do incase you have more than one page to your document.

GMC asks for documents containing an exact date. But i'm not a 100% on what epic wants. Try calling them and they should resolve this query fairly quickly.

If the degree was issued by the university themselves on their letter head with their stamp then I don't see why it wouldn't be acceptable. Hi Maryam. If you are talking about the two options I talked about at 07:03 then please note they have ever since updated their website and you won't see those options anymore.
Hi. They send your ID in an email with further instructions on how to complete the EIF. And they send your temporary logins in another email. Have you checked all your inboxes including junk?

Dear Dr, I just finished notarycam verification. When I came back to EPIC account and open my credentials, there is no upload options and it showed: you do not have a valid EPIC identification form on file. So I asked from chatbox to Notarycam verifying agent, she asked me to wait for 3 days.

You can. No restriction. I chose to do it that way because that's the sweet spot where you can expect to register with the GMC within the next year. If you do it too soon and don't register with the gmc then you end up having to send the gmc the report again which could cost around 50 GBP or so.
Hey there,my verficstion is already done , and they have mentioned 'report sent'.. but there is no confirmation email from imc yet .should i chose the 'request report ' or not,as they are asking for 100$ !
As far as I remember the GMC didn't send me a confirmation for having received the report either. The only thing to do now would be to complete your registration process with the IMC within a year of having sent them this report. Ofcourse I'm extrapolating from my knowledge about the GMC. Not sure if it's the same for IMC.

We use different dates in my country. I have sent an email to EPIC talking about this. Do you think they would allow me to change the dates I have entered? Sir please. Note that if a degree is not in English .. after getting translation we don't have to combine it with the English one rather a separate tab open which asked if he degree is not in English upload translated degree .
i have already verified my credentials through ecfmg for usmle exams before..Do i need to also do this through epic before residency applications?? isnt this a repeat process though?
You still need to create an epic account but once you give them your details from the time you verified for usmle all the documents will be added to your account and you won't have to go through the whole ordeal.

I believe the first courier to a medical council of your choice will be free.

I would imagine you would only have to verify your identity once.

First page is fine. Even if they have an objection they will simply ask you to reupload so don't worry.

For the epic verification of your medical degree, you only need the degree.
What does it mean when your EIF is "created" ? Do we need to wait until it says "verified " and then upload the credentials ?

Yes it's exactly like I've mentioned it in the video. You can go to the epic website to find the latest pricing details.

As far as I remember the GMC didn't send me a confirmation for having received the report either. The only thing to do now would be to complete your registration process with the IMC within a year of having sent them this report. Ofcourse I'm extrapolating from my knowledge about the GMC. Not sure if it's the same for IMC.

Hi love this video, it was super helpful. I do have on more question though. If you already applied for usmle via form 186 and now you are applying for plab. Do you need to make another notarycam account and start the process all over again or you need use the same one?

Hi Dorji. Generally it's Email. Thats the way they did it for me. But I can't guarantee what it will be like in different countries for different universities.

Well that depends on what yiu are verifying. For purposes of GMC registration through PLAB route its just your medical degree.

We use different dates in my country. I have sent an email to EPIC talking about this. Do you think they would allow me to change the dates I have entered? And also I have written MBBS as title but later I have found it Doctor of Medicine in my country (again different systems) and I have talked about this too. I have already paid 130$ so I am anxious right now. I would appreciate your thoughts

Sir please. Note that if a degree is not in English .. after getting translation we don't have to combine it with the English one rather a separate tab open which asked if he degree is not in English upload translated degree .

i have already verified my credentials through ecfmg for usmle exams before..Do i need to also do this through epic before residency applications?? isnt this a repeat process though?
You still need to create an epic account but once you give them your details from the time you verified for usmle all the documents will be added to your account and you won't have to go through the whole ordeal.

Oh I was in Pakistan when I went through the process. So I was able to sort out things in person.

Might be the browser. Try logging back in. Or using the latest version of Chrome. And use it from your laptop not phone. Did that help?
Mine also shows the same exact thing , invalid EIF form and it shows 404 file or directory not found .
