Nice video. I recently flew a TAP A330 neo and enjoyed it a lot. Even without a new fuselage, I found it very competitive with the 787. Looking forward to flying it again soon.
Thanks for the upload - i really like the look of the a330 neo wing. Next time I’d try to not center the wing in the frame - that way you get a partial view of the wing and the changing scenery as you climb.
Unfortunately in that case the window would block the scenery too and sadly it was the seat placement that was on the wing which made things worse. I got some more videos where I sit behind the wing of the exact same plane though including a landing at Tel Aviv so check those out
I flew this exact aircraft (N411DX, Team USA Livery) from Tel Aviv to Boston in early July
Good to hear. Hopefully I'll Fly the Tel Aviv To Boston Route Soon :)
Very nice video! I don’t know if you travel to TLV often, but the direct taxiway to runway 26 is fairly recent. It used to take 20 minutes to get from the terminal to the runway.
I travel often but because of corona the airport was empty and not that many flights have been going out recently which is why this departure was quick
@@rbspotter I had to laugh when the attendant said to a few passengers take your seat and seatbelt - obviously Haredi 😁 On one of my flights, the El Al captain slammed the brakes on that taxiway, and all the Haredim fell on the floor. They finally took their assigned seats despite all their complaints! I didn’t expect it on Delta or any American carrier though.
@@wotan10950 I've had an experience on United When I flew on the Tel Aviv to Washington direct route About 5 minutes after touching down at Washington and we were still halfway to the gate taxing a bunch of them got up and ran to the business class to see their rabbi who got upgraded lol. It was also a first for me outside of El Al
@@rbspotter The rules simply don’t apply to them. But on one of my returns to Newark, one Haredi family decided they didn’t have to submit any forms to Customs & Immigration. They were arguing with the agents until the supervisor said to get off the line, they would be arrested. Then they shut up and followed the rules.
dang the flaps are fat.
