    This is soooo great! I love it! Thanks Dylane. The next lesson can combine a well known place in France. For example, it can describe the steps a person from another country would need to take in order to visit a place in France. I have so many ideas and I am very excited about sharing them - blessings to you, and thank you so much for all you do. I purchased your program and I really appreciate all your hard work! Hi Dylane! I think you are a great teacher and I love your honesty. I’m watching your videos because I’m planning a trip to Paris soon and want to be able to read the language. I doubt that the French will understand my accent but at least I’ll be able to feel comfortable reading. I took French in high school and was in a French dorm in college. But I need to relearn. Thanks again!

    Hey Dylan, I've been studying french in the university for about 2 years and my grades are really suffering. I'm about to start your courses from scratch and i was wondering if you could please give me any advice cause I'm really trying to improve. Thanks

    • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
      @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane  2 года назад

      Hi Stephen, thank you so much for your comment. Your struggles could come from a lot of things, which is hard to say like that. But most of the time, there are 2 issues. The first one is pronunciation and how words are built. Written French and Spoken French are 2 different languages :D if you don't have a good base for that, you will never understand anything.
      The second one could be that you don't have a proper foundation to build a sentence. There are more words in French than in English and that could be an issue.
      Either way, go to my website, to Freebies, and download the self-study guide. It's free. You can just follow the lessons and my advice in the guide. Restart from the beginning, and skip the lesson if you are already comfortable with the subject. You will get the missing pieces that you need.
      I hope it helps :)

    Oh la la, je n'ai vu cette vidéo qu'aujourd'hui. J'ai pris du retard dans mes études.
    Thank you for the new lesson, French speaking practice.🤗👍🏼💐 I find that my American accent likes to take over many of the similar words. For example; la saison (eng-la season), les vacances (eng-la veyconce), les professeurs (eng-les prOfesser), relaxante (eng-reelaXante).... I know the difference, mais Zut!, it is difficult to have the accent.🙄😝🤭
    Maybe do a speaking practice about something you can compare. My partner was mad at me because I did not understand when he was talking about some wine we had last night at dinner. I did not understand when he said, "Tout ça ne vaut pas la Bourgogne ou le Bordeaux." First I did understand he was say Tout and not Tu, and "vaut" I thought he was say "veut" . I did know he was comparing as he "ça" and Bourgogne and Bordeaux.
    Bref, c'était difficile de comprendre complètement.
    J'espère que tu profiteras de ton week-end.
    Ciao for now.

      Michelita I can see why you were confused, the sounds are very similar between veut and vaut - Only practice will help for it, your ear has to get used to it :D I still ahve some sounds mixed up in English after so many years!
      Noted for the practices :D The next one will probably be with cognates then :)
