I am officially a medical student!!!! After years of hard work and dedication it’s all starting to come together in a new chapter of my life. I am one step closer to becoming a physician and it feels so good! Watch this video to get an inside look of my first day in medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. They gave us a welcome packet (including our student IDs), took us on tours, and ended the day with the Dean’s BBQ.

In a world with a lot of negative depressing news I feel hopeful when I see young (most of the time) people planning a future of health care, service for others. As long as you have time keep doing this. We need to see that not all aspects of the future are going to hell in a hand basket. Carry on.
