The soap looks like ice cream with chocolate cookie crumbs inside it with whip cream on top, syrup drizzled over it and a leaf cookie as garnish! You've made a beautiful soap like always.
I am a new subscriber but everything about your videos make me so happy, you're so enthusiastic and positive and it's obvious that you have a real passion for soap making.
As a Canadian I must say, this is an absolutely gorgeous soap that I would love to have for the fall. The leaves look wonderful and the colours are almost spot on.
Yes! The fall is my favorite. I'm sorry you don't love fall in the city. I grew up on Tulsa, OK and now live in Los Angeles and I love all the city sounds!
I did an autumn soap with maple leaves and other leaves on top this year too! It's not as colorful and decorative as yours, but it's one of my favorite creations so far! Beautiful soap
Those colours in the bowls remind me of that really cheap rainbow icecream you get at birthday parties as a kid. With the bland AF vanilla, the fake strawberry and the meh chocolate. It's kinda spooky.
Great videos! I"ve been playing with soap and toying with the idea of selling some - you're very encouraging, and your passion for what you do is AWESOME. Thank you!
you are so daring! I have shyed away from the higher vanillin fragrance oils because I HATE using the vanilla stabilizers because ... its an extra step and I'm lazy. In other news: I FI NAL LLY got my paws on the Ateco piping tips and can I just say "I FEEL LIKE SUCH A SOAPING BIG GIRL!" I have been waiting so long and finally treated myself to new tips and I'm so thrilled about it (please imagine the opening scene from the sound of music only instead of Julie Andrews its me with a huge piping bag of soap running up the austrian mountains hahahaha... I'm winded picturing that scene!!). The clouds parted and the angels sang and I piped LIKE A BOSS! THanks for sharing your awesome experience as a soaper with all of us. Your bubbly personality is a bit of sunshine in the youtube world. When my little ones hear your voice they run from the far corners of the house and stair and awestruck wonder. we love your channel! Upstate New York or Vermont is a beautiful place to see Maples ;)
Just saw this video Katie and I love it! Your soaps always turn out so pretty. Do you remember where you bought your maple leaf mold? I love the size of them.
I think you should leave the first one you pull out (of the soaps that discolor when the air hits) after cutting and show them to see if they've got their color.. if I remember Clyde (vibrant soaps) does that and I love seeing the difference!!! Slouch a beautiful soap
It's so crazy you've never seen maple trees before! Sometimes it blows my mind how big the country is, I'm in Ohio and have a maple tree out in the front yard! You probably don't have peony flowers either. But, you have stuff we can't have, and all within a few hours on a plane 😱
I really want to buy some pumpkin spice and the maple leaves!! When will they be available for purchase!! I love this channel!! You always make me laugh.
Wow looks gorgeous! I love autumn too. Question - is this sort of handmade cold process soap better for skin than store-bought soap? My husband and daughter have very sensitive eczema-prone skin. I'm considering trying to make cold process soap but am worried it might cause irritation as most commerically made soaps do.
I actually started soap making as I have a very similar problem; I have sensitive, combination skin prone to very severe eczema break outs. I have found that handmade soap, depending on the ingredients, is MUCH better for my skin than anything I have bought from a store, including products that are supposed to be for sensitive skin.
nmhowl80 I love using goats milk and Shea butter in mine. The recipe I use changes fairly often too because I find some are better in the colder seasons while others are good for the hotter ones, as I am in Canada lol. I would definitely experiment with a few things and find which combination works best for your skin.
Katie, guess we soapers are just in tune to the seasons, I too started a soap with the fall leaves etc. Alas, I do have a question I hope you can get to. I purchased the Royalty Soap + Nuture Garden Soap decorating kit. LOVE IT! Just one little question, how long does the piping soap usually take to get to the desired consistency? I waited and waited and waited and lost my patience before it ever got to the right stage and ended up with a slightly soft piped soap. My bad I know but for future reference how long should I anticipate the soap needing to sit?
I haven't been on RUclips for a while and just figured out that you got married. Did you do video's that talk about your wedding? Congratulations. Are you no longer soaping in that cute little house on/near your parents property?
if you don't have maple trees what kinds of trees do you have?! those leaves are so pretty! if your embeds are melt and pour how do you keep them from sweating with the cold process in the packaging?
you are too cute. love watching the videos. just curios, do you have timers you set for those soaps? you seem like a person that might watch it like a boiling pot of water. the excitement!
I love your videos and yours soap, I am a newish soaper and I have to ask, how are you able to unmold your soaps so quickly? I'm lucky if I can get my loafs and small soaps out within a week. most of the time I have to put my soap in the freezer after the first two days just to get it out, please any help with this would really be appreciated.
Did you end up using BB Maple syrup FO for this? I used it in candles and it smells great and even discolored them a bit too. Also, maybe Caleb will be getting you a kitten for x-mas ;)
Katie: speaking about Bramble Berry, on her latest video people are asking. if she could have you on her video. I think this would be (awesome ) I think all your viewers so go to her videos and ask for you to go on one of her videos 😍😻💖
Lily Logan superfatting is when you add extra oil, which in this case is 5% which means that that 5% of oils will not combine with the lye but instead it will stay as oil. This means that the soap will be more moisturizing. When you use a lye calculator there should be a place where you can enter in how much percent you want to superfat.
hi. loving your videos. just found you. you sound so happy and crazy. haha sorry. infectious. young presenter I saw before put me so off watching royalty soap's. so irrating. so sorry nothing against you. look forward to seeing more of your videos. thank you so much

I absolutely love your innocent and country upbeat spirit!! Still reminds me of my childhood!! Oh how I miss it!! Always beautiful soap!!
Ooh! Do a roadtrip with Caleb to Canada, I can guarantee you'll see maple trees!

the soap design on the actual bar looks like a cupcake bottom!
love the soap and the nice fall colors and the embeds do look like maple leaves i live in Maine and i see them all the time... :)
I always love all the soaps you make! The speckling reminds me of the caterpillar bites on leaves. Happy accidents are the best :)
Those colours in the bowls remind me of that really cheap rainbow icecream you get at birthday parties as a kid. With the bland AF vanilla, the fake strawberry and the meh chocolate. It's kinda spooky.
I'm in Houston & I am wearing a jacket! Doing my happy dance

+Dawn Smith What ingredients do you use Dawn?
much much better! I love goats milk with oatmeal, you have to try different ingredients and see which ones work for you.

I love this soap!

Got my "Scrapy Scrapy" fix. Thanks.
Lovely 🍁
Love it! :) Is there a reason you don't use vanilla color stabilizers?
if you don't have maple trees what kinds of trees do you have?! those leaves are so pretty!

It's beautiful Katie😍 Do you use the titanium dioxide in oil or water?
Did you end up using BB Maple syrup FO for this? I used it in candles and it smells great and even discolored them a bit too. Also, maybe Caleb will be getting you a kitten for x-mas ;)
I don't think she would have used that because in another video she said it smelled horrible lol
beautimus!!!

Hi! Katie I I like to know if you still perfumes the top. thank you for the answer
What do you mean by letting it sit for too long? Isn't supposed to be solid?
How did you get that gold shine on your embeds?
when will it be in the shop?
Where did you get your maple leaf embed mold?
What fragrance oil did you use? thanks
Why don't you scrapey scrapey the color cups?
What does 5% super fat mean in the recipe? Thanks
