In this sneak peek we see Minnie, Joseph, and Bill in the café. Bill reads a letter from Clara which explains to the viewers where Clara and Jesse are. It’s a weekday and the Canfields are eating breakfast in the café. Did they move again? Or are they having breakfast with Minnie because she is cooking for the café guests? And speaking of the café, who lives in the café now?

I agree with you. Minnie and Joseph are great together. It's nice to see a whole family together. Mother, father and children. We know the other kids have two parents but you don't see them all together. So looking forward to seeing them. Minnie and Joseph have been married at least 15 years, so they are an established couple.
As far as the cafe, there has been extra workers. The S6 introduction of Lucas was a lady working there who gave Bill his breakfast he was complaining about. Also even in S8 finale there was someone working there.
I think Minnie and Joseph live in the cafe now that Jessie and Clara are gone. The furniture and curtains are different. With new people moving in, they would need the row house. Lee offered Joseph a job, but we don't know what it was, so that's probably why he has on the suit. Maybe Minnie and Joseph bought the cafe because Bill wanted to sell it or at least have a partner since Abigail isn't coming back. Really getting so excited about S9🤗
There is another promo of the Canfields and they are still in the Ro home. So that’s why I was thinking they didn’t move.

Hello Roxanne. I will be tuned in tomorrow. What I noticed in the cafe is that it looks like they redecorated it. Is the table longer that the Canfields are sitting at? And is the couch in the background gone? Maybe I overlooked these things in season 8. Maybe the Canfields are staying there for some reason. Since they are eating breakfast there. Just my thoughts.
Hmmmm I’ll have to go back and look again.
I thought the chairs were different by the settee but then I guess Clara & Jesse would have had their furniture shipped??

I was thinking that maybe it’s Faith & Fiona living at the cafe, or at least one of the two. I believe Lee will be Mayor and Joseph will be woking for him at the lumber office. Since Jesse is now gone, there’s also another job opening? I can see Robert working for Rosemary because Elizabeth always complimented him on his writing. I can’t wait to see what actually happens.

Hello Roxanne. I hadn't seen the promo you talked about so thanks for all the good information. I was thinking that maybe the Canfield's would move upstairs of the cafe since Minnie has been working there. However, I think there's only two bedrooms & they need three, so maybe not. My next thought would be Mei. Since she's new to HV maybe she'll ask for a job at the cafe to help Minnie & also get a room upstairs. Now my next thought is a bit far fetched, but if Mei starts working at the cafe & Nathan showed an interest in her when she rode into town, maybe he offers to help her out by clearing the tables. The man in the back is very blurred, but I don't think he has a mustache....could be Nathan already shaved his off? Just my thoughts!
All are fun ideas.
If Clara is in Montana and Rosemary has the newspaper, who is running the dress shop? Could a new dress shop employee/owner be moving into the cafe living quarters?

I was wondering about that, too. Who would be living there now with Jesse & Clara gone? I'm so excited to see S9!!!
SO many possibilities about everything- who live in the cafe? Who is working the cafe besides Minnie and Bill? Who will be mayor? Mei? Is she a doctor? Nurse? Maybe why she is there is a mystery??? Who isFiona's investor? Will the pipeline bring jobs and danger? What explodes as the cast and BTS suggests? Will someone be hurt? Henry is back. What happened when he visited his son and did he visit Abigail? SOOOO many questions.
I will really miss Clara! I wonder why they were written off? I am exited for your interview!
I’m excited too. 😂 My not sure they were written off, maybe they asked for time off due to other projects. Aren is staring in a recurring role on another show. Eva is off of social media so no news regarding her. I know the writers will keep their characters alive like they have for Abigail and Cody by referring to them. So, they can always return.
@@EverythingAboutHallmark I am hopeful that it was just because they had other projects going that they needed a season off. I am hopeful that one day Clara & Jesse will return to Hope Valley...and Abigail, too!! I do NOT want Henry to leave to go live where she is!!!
Perhaps the writers didn’t know what to do with their characters. In the last couple seasons, Jesse got lost twice in the mountains where Lee gets trees for his lumber company! It seemed they had run out of storylines for them. If they do bring them back to WCTH, I hope the character of Jesse has matured. At times they had him playing Jesse very juvenile.
I agree. Homesteading is tough. This would make a turning point for Jesse. And the two would e alone with only each other for daily support.
Hi Roxanne! Here is what I think. Minnie and Joseph have moved in upstairs at the Cafe. Bill offered Minnie & Joseph room & board if they will open the Cafe before he gets there each morning. Joseph is dressed up because he now works at the lumber office a few days per week. During the other days he free-lances as an auto mechanic at the HP Gas Station. :)
