Blind guardian songs always brighten my day whether it's there ballads like past and future secret or something heavy like imaginations all there songs are very uplifting to me.
I don't know (nor care) what others find to criticize here. To me, this performance is pure magic. It takes me away to another world - the one without pain... and puts sunshine into my worst days. Thank you Bards, may you live longer than Bilbo! And thank you uploader.
I'm really sorry about the hand you've been dealt and I sincerely wish you all the best. On a brighter note, this is magical indeed. Blind Guardian is a one-of-a-kind band to me, fulfilling something so many others, even in similar styles, do not.

God damn I need this after a stressful day of being at a work night with people I hate listening to music I despise. I know, life is tough, eh? Blind Guardian will always be my favourite band. Fuck other peoples opinions. I wish they would release an all acoustic album and include all their acoustic songs newly recorded as bonus tracks. I'd pay all kinds of money for that.

Excellent acustic from Blind Guardian, they made amazings ballads far from beyond!!! How I wish that in this acoustic live were played epics songs as Bright Eyes and The Mordred Song the same versions electroacoustics from the álbum The Forgotten Tales from 1996, both theme are beautifull and awesome in all sense!!! I hope in futures acoustic, they play these songs....!!! Up The Bards...!!!

He always skips high notes, except on Tanelorn when they play that live, and it doesn't sound so great... Otherwise, you can even see shows from 2003 and earlier, and he's still skipping high notes. Studio trickery at it's finest.
+Erik Gabriel this was in 2006 , the bards song is way older. he just cant hit them anymore these days, well this was 10years ago, he usually screams the high notes of this song now
I think he just wasn't fully healthy. He's doing the high notes a lot better in the actual shows. But it's more difficult to sing while sitting and there wasn't a whole show before the song.

The best is that they decided to do "Harvest of Sorrow". You almost never hear it live, but it's one of their best songs.
They've been my favorite band for 15-20 years now..

I can see the struggle in Hansi's eyes during The Bards Songs when he couldn't hit those high notes :( It's kind of heart-breaking.
Hansi is never near his highest level in situations like this. He needs to be on stage with an audiance or in the studio with lots of time
