@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc it’s crazy. i’m in jersey and pretty much any combo from BK, Wendy’s or McDs is around $12. plus tax that’s around $15 i’d rather just take $15 and go to a restaurant and get a real meal. the whole selling point for fast food in the past for me was its quick and cheap. now it doesn’t even taste as good as it used to be and it costs 3x as much.

So all these restaurants, have a “secret menu” that they don’t post on their menu board. The purpose of the menu board is the show the customers what you have on your menu. (this makes no sense)
They’ve had it on the menu years ago. My brother bought one for us around 2018 and it was $10. So, yeah, it’s probably way more than $12 in my area, but it is a real thing they’ve had for years.

@@MikeCee7 - It was something they promoted with our college football games. They had it on banners to get awareness. If you’d look on the menu, you probably won’t see it, but it’s something they have. For example, they sell birthday cakes for parties but you don’t see it on the menu.
@@roxcyn Thanks for that info. A birthday cakes, is something that that’s only going to appeal to a very very very small fraction of the population. (who would actually buy a birthday cake at McDonald’s, versus their supermarket or Baskin Robbins or Carvel.etc) so I can see that not being on the menu.
But a family meal, that’s such a great value at $12, appeals to 99% the population. That’s really pathetic that’s not on the menu. (and it’s hidden)

Why is everyone in the comments trashing this lady and her family? Ya'll don't know her, her kids, her husband nor anything that is going on in their life. She NEVER said that she fed this to her family every night. I am sure she cooks, but let's not act like grocery prices are insane right now, because they are; even Walmart prices are high right now. Also, her being a stay at home mom is their business. Nobody including myself knows anything about their financial situation. I can tell they live in a nice home. so they are doing something right. You are making assumptions yourself! Living in a 'nice' home does not mean that they live within their means or are doing anything right. And fast food is intentionally addictive. It isn't likely that this is a one and done. If she knew enough to find out about a secret menu then she probably goes there often enough.
They don't have it at the McDonald's I worked at in Orem Utah recently They do have the pack that comes with only 2 cheeseburgers 20 nuggets & 2 med fries for around $22.00. Or the one with 2 Big Macs, 20 nuggets & 2 med fries for the same $22.00. It's an ok deal if you were going to buy those items anyways but... This deal was better $12 for 2 cheeseburgers, 2 Big Macs, 10 nuggets & 4 small fries. That's a steal. If you stop & think about how much there are by themselves or even in combos its an incredible deal This one should be available everywhere.9 items for $12 that's cheap!!!

I personally enjoy cooking at home even a hamburger when I fancy one.I have been cooking since about age 11 & am almost 59 now.
My darling husband taught himself to cook & made scrumptious hamburgers, beer battered fish n chips, roasts, curries & more before he died January 2022 age 74.
I highly recommend cooking for yourself so you can enjoy healthy tasty meals & save money. Sit around the table with the family without phones & enjoy each others company while you can.

Shittttt in Philadelphia, that’s called a bundle box and it’s damn near $20.00 now, when the bundle box first came out I want to say it was $15.00 and it came with 2 cheeseburgers, 2 medium fries one Big Mac and a twenty piece nugget.. now it comes with a ten piece nugget tho.. (I have 3 boys, so I love a good deal) 😂.. Prices r different everywhere unfortunately lol

I’ve known about these bundle deals through the app. With 3 kids I cook at home and even bake my own breads, broths etc but once a month typically my kids want something out as a treat. These deals make it more affordable for that once in awhile treat. Prices are just insane anymore!! Idk how anyone can afford to eat out daily..

This has been going on for years .. go to the menu and scroll to shareables , and it will show you what bundle your McDonalds have . Rn I can get 4 McChickens , a basket of fries and a 20 piece nugget for 12 dollars . This has been going on for a long time .
The app actually has better deals depending on where you are. If you're in college it's actually a great way to get real sustenance not great and not have to eat the crappiest of meals daily.

That costs less than a quarter pounder with cheese meal at any McDs...... what this is is discrimination. If it exists, it should be posted on the menu. People without technology or limited tech or not having social apps are getting discriminated against. The Federal government should stop these types of discriminatory practices. Put it on the physical menu in the store or don’t offer it for anybody.
For $20 I could’ve got some chicken breast, some rice and beans and tortillas and call it a day. Then if anyone is still hungry there’s plenty left. If you’re complaining about fast food prices, then you probably don’t have the money to afford fast food or to go out and eat. I’m not happy with prices, so I don’t go out and eat but if I do I understand I’m paying more these days so I keep it simple and reasonable within my means, especially if I’m with my family.
That’s cheap, but it’s junk food! If you want to save money, learn to clip coupons, take advantage of the grocery store apps. You’d be surprised how you can save and buy good food!

Here's the issue with this most restaurants are franchise owned which means they can do whatever they want as far as menus goes unfortunately in my state most restaurants are franchise owned so the chances of me getting something like this just won't happen.
