    She's so right about your mind wandering sometimes while typing. You kind of learn to hear with your fingers. Your fingers actually do the hearing and instinctively go to the keys of what your hearing. You really shouldn't think about what your typing and what key to strike because it slows you down, if you can understand that.

      Let muscle memory do it's thing instead of processing it in your brain first. Makes sense.

    I love how typing on a steno keyboard at almost 300 WPM looks so chill compared to typing 150 on qwerty keyboard.

    So funny that I searched "court recorder competition" because of some random thought I was having and, of course that's a thing right?!

    Funny how recording and talk to TeXt hasn't killed the steno industry.... Must have lobbyists lol

      think about this.....would you trust text to speech if your life was on the line?

    • @calva7538
      @calva7538 3 года назад +15

      Talk to text speech isn’t accurate. Recording doesn’t help the deaf and someone could have a accent that you have no idea to what they said. There is a lot of reasons why they don’t record and do talk to text but yea that’s just a few lol

    • @yaoibabe

      Speech to text is awful for anyone with a hint of an accent lol

      It sounds like it would be a good idea but that’s actually a nightmare. Imagine someone cough and you don’t know what the other person said.
