Fuel mileage alone
It's not all ways about Money , Fancy has always payed his own way ( stuff fuel mileage )
I wasn’t trying to sell it, the right buyer came along and wanted the truck. Fancy has always been the truck that comes through, he’s old and reliable and just wants to be there, like a loyal dog.

I was in Belvidere IL on Monday evening when that storm blew thru. AmeriCold Brought all the drivers into the storm shelter. Apparently we were ground zero I feel it was pretty nice of them to think of our safety out in the parking lot.

I don't know if someone has already mentioned this, but the town you are going to is pronounced Tree-Mon-Tun, with a slight accent on the first syllable. My Dad was raised for most his life there, and my Mom was from the neighboring town, Garland.
Sorry to see Tiny Dancer leave, but I can understand the issue. Guy is getting a truck with an almost new engine. I am watching this on 8-2-24. I passed through Ogden/Tremonton yesterday (8-1) on my way back home to SW Washington. All I can say is that it is still there! Keep up the great work on the videos!!!

You made the right decision my friend I sold my w900 and got a cascadia but I regraded my decision right away it didn’t make me feel good yea I was averaging more mpg but it didn’t make me feel good driving it .coming up to my zw9 made me feel good walking away from her made me feel amazing, I offset expenses on w9 by doing most of the maintenance myself witch you do yourself anyway so you guys will do fine .A lot of our job out here is sociological I know at the end of the day we are all out here to make money but driving my kenworth sure makes me want to go out and keep pushing stay positive my Friends hope to see out here so day 🤙🏻
You’re right, that’s kind of how it feels, but I did make the 579 cool and put alot of effort to make it stand out some. I really liked that truck and was sad to sell it, the w900 took some time to get used to again, it’s one rough riding sob. Needs 389 front leafs and move the hangers back some to ride like a Peterbilt.

I live in S. Florida, you can certainly have some of our humidity if you need a little extra! Congratulations on the sale, I understand what Martin said about maybe not selling the right one. There will always be another.
In the business world, everything has a price. If it doesn't, it probably should . I think there is a larger plan in the works here. I'll just wait and watch to see what it is.

Facts that’s why I’m going backwards to a 95 379 instead of my fuel saving spacious truck. I’m also doing it so ass backwards that I’m taking the engine out of the fuel saver and putting it in the fuel drinker LOL!😂

What a shocker!!!!!! I was wondering what was going on with having an extra truck. Hey you did what you thought was right. Now no trucks sitting and now you got a pile of cash in the back or you lowered your debt load, both good options. What ever turns your crank that is what you should do. I did the same thing in my studio last year , had to sell some very high end and coveted gear. I learned to cut my emotional ties to gear. Will be great to see the 900 L back out there chugging up and down the highways of America. I will miss Tiny for sure, but then so will you guys. Great to see Alice back in the saddle, boy your one good looking MaMa there Alice.. lucky Martin , you telling him you love him. Anywho another day in the life of TRUCKING TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!

I love watching the lightning show from the thunderstorms that roll across the bay here in Melbourne, and I loved watching them roll across the plains when I was travelling the US 20 years ago.
However. definitely do *NOT* enjoy driving in the rain that accompanied the light show.. 😅

@@kevinerenwick4415 do you pour the rain x that you spray on the windows, straight into the washer bottle? I always have issues with the rain x smearing and can't get the windows to sparkle after applying it.
I don’t use rainx washer fluid, we just wipe it on the glass.

The 579 Has New Engine that Built URSELF (Did AWESOME BTW!!), Should be Reliable for Awhile, Better Fuel Mileage and BOTH Said Has MORE ROOM and COMFORTABLE especially in SLEEPER than W900!!! The Way Things Been Going, Replacing Airbags, Shocks, Brake Chambers and Such on the 579s and are Newer Trucks , then After Put Fancy Back to Work, Be On Look Out for MORE REPAIRS especially Probably Engine!!! YES I Like W900s More than a 579 but if Newer Truck thats Paid Off can Make More NET PROFIT Especially Due to MORE FUEL MILEAGE then be BEST to DRIVE IT!! Just Me. Take Care Amigos 😇💪😎
