Nothing screams WELCOME, WE LOVE TRUCKERS like entering the shippers parking lot and seeing two porta johns to use in the sun on a hundred plus degree day.
I have found... that Excedrin "Migraine" which has caffeine in it... makes a headache better if taken when not also consuming caffeine... when I put it together with a caffeinated drink...my headache always gets worse. I hope it didn't last too long for you.
Alice glad you got a load finally. The first broker was playing some BS game with you guys. He would go on the do not call list if it were me. What happened to the factor meals you always used to take? Those look like they were awesome.
Broker Games yep..I've dealt with a bad one on this load to dallas outta Phoenix. He sent 3 trucks 🚚 at the same time to pick up this load. Urghh . I was already in the dock and loading when the other two showed up and it caused a cluster fudge
Hey have you ever checked your blood pressure when you have one of your killer headaches? I use to get them and the wife loaded me up one day when I just couldn't get it to go away and took me to our doctor and I was stroke high they put me on blood pressure pills and I don't get them anymore. Just a thought. Keep it safe on the road and for you.
Hopefully this freight game gets back better cause I’ve been in some real Roid Rage mess with these brokers and dispatchers 😂😂 But Ride safe and keep that Machine clean and tell hubby we want some more of them Mechanic Videos 🫡🍻🚛🚛💨💨🤘🏾
Substantial amount of cheese on this truck! Plus weather is cooler up north! It helps meeting and working with nice people. Most definitely. It’s always a good day when the scale ticket is good. Especially on the first weight!
I love watching your channel until you speed up the video and we are driving through interesting towns at 150 mph. They are a part of Americana that I really enjoy watching. I want to see the mountains, deserts, rivers and towns as you drive across America.
it takes a lot of time to make, so really depends on how big my workload is and what I’m doing if I’m adding it. And by lot of time I mean 30-60 mins depending on mapping
My only experience with I 90 was March 1975, so this was a treat. Too bad truckers are treated so unfairly. It really does roll downhill. Ready for the next part. And there's Martin chilling on the deck
I’m a new member miss ALiSE out in Wisconsin I am in Marlette Michigan if you ever travel through Marlette Michigan I’m 53 look for my black Duramax Chevy diesel pick up truck with a silver toolbox in the back where it says of train horns under the toolbox all right Miss ALiSE and my truck has cat flaps and rock tamer flaps on the back of a pick up truck
Yes ma'am its crazy they ship Wisconsin milk to cali to make the cheese then truck it back to Wisconsin to sell lol my cousin works in a creamery were they make the cheese in tulare ca
I run alot of stuff by my hubby also it's just easier letting him do the figuring. I remember going with my dad having to put up with so much of that hurry up and wait bs. If they can charge you for being late it should work both ways. I don't deal with that hauling propane and ammonia. In the spring and fall when its super busy if you have to wait then you get demurrage time sitting in line. That's what it should be because we have expenses to cover also. Not to self .. Next time you hit the hotel bring your pillow. Lol beef stroganoff is very good. One of my favorites. Stay safe.
Martin appeared so shook up worrying about you out there on the patio in his skibbies and his sippy cup lol. Have you ever made a roast in Coka Cola? Yummy! Brokers suck to high heaven, the end.
Hi Alice and Martin ,Alice this trip gives a good insight on how some shipper/receivers treat truck drivers ( all over the world ) but in true alice style you smile through the good days and you also smile through the bad days and that is why i watch your channel so wishing you safe miles cheers from tim in queensland australia ( keep on trucking ) ps when all else fails say cheese ❤
Thanks for takeing us along for the ride . Glad that you found a good load to get you back home and with nice people deal with aplus. Both of you stay safe out there.
Ugh @ some of these "brokers". Makes one wonder. They want to make a lot of money, but then wonder why no one wants to take their loads, when it is clear they are fleecing the drivers. You and Martin are the best! Stay safe, and God Bless.
@@TruckingTogether that’s why they hire brokers. To many manufacturers don’t have enough bodies to get there work done. Now adays the quality of the person that works for you has been degraded immensely. So screw ups happen all the time. So when a shipper or manufacturer screws up he tells the broker can we make this one go away and I will give you the next 3 loads and one of them pays 8 grand. So it’s not the broker it’s the manufacturer. But drivers don’t know this. Only by going inside did I get to learn how trucking really works. If you don’t go inside you don’t know. Simple and fact…
I hate dealing with liars well the real word is broker's I Hall for bimbo so I don't have to deal with that crap to often. You 2 make a great team together trucking and at home. Me and my wife run teams for 7 years until my truck blew up with me in it but I had the door open and it forced me out into a chain lenc fence she won't get in a truck never again. You to are the best I really do enjoy your channel thank you
Martin is a “wealth of knowledge”even for viewers like myself I like how y’all pivoted off that UT (unfortunate situation)rolling with the punches, bad shippers, lying brokers that’s Truckin!🤷🏻♂️
Hello Martin and Alice. Alice you are right. 90 is a beautiful drive. So glad you're done with that broker. On to better days. The ending shot of High Maintenance is beautiful.
Hi Alice and Martin! I wish you both and your family good health. Alice, you are looking nice, like your hair. Wishing safe travels and less stress from bad brokers. ❤😂❤
Exactly the reason I cut my losses early 2023 and sold truck and reefer. Went back to work and never looked back. Trucking is dying slow death for owner operators.
Taking Cheese to Wisconsin is like taking Snow to the Eskimos. Been there done that , and my guess is you are going back to Schreiber Foods in De Pere.
That is some frustrating crap Alice especially on the weekend, time for a backup plan, dump that shipper& broker time is money the truck doesn't make money sitting idle!
brokers do that just so you can be onsite and move the load.. that broker definitely has a contract theyre on the verge of losing due to complications ( Just assuming)
it’s a Galanz 3 in 1 microwave, it air fry’s and bakes also. Got a WalMart for around $100 last year. They make a larger one and smaller mine is the smaller size.
5.5-8.6 mpg it all depends on weight, speed, wind and hill conditions. For the record Tiny also fluctuates like this on mileage based on conditions listed. So don’t think taking that stuff off hurt it that much as it’s not much off of Tiny’s mpg
Is there a way to warn other truckers about the broker(s) that waste your time and do not value your services? Since they are shady I am sure they would just change names and run the same scams. But if they got blackballed and went under then that is a win for the industry.
That's the whole problem with the brokers Alice and Martin they could care less about drivers as long as they make their money. I sometimes wonder if they work for the government. Hey Alice I think you're to add a little water to the noodles so they don't get dry. Stay Safe guys and Happy Truckin.👍🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
Yes ma'am yalls made for each other ol martins a smart man there going extinct fast lol dang kids washing the lites on his truck there getting younger and younger every day aint they lol
Jopefully you didnt book that 1st load with tql, because they'll actually say the load is ready when it isn't. And if you alrrady had a situation where the shipper told you they have a problem next time vall the shipper to see if they will be able to load you. Never really believe the broker in a situation like that.
Nothing screams WELCOME, WE LOVE TRUCKERS like entering the shippers parking lot and seeing two porta johns to use in the sun on a hundred plus degree day.
surprisingly those were clean and didn’t reek lol
Better than zero!

I always take my pillow(s) with me when I travel. Hotels have got some weird ideas on what a pillow should be. 😅
Those meals from kwik trip/star are pretty good!
Great ride along Alice. Windshield videos were great except I kept trying to wipe the bugs off my TV screen😂
That is why Schmidt won't take broker loads. He takes his regular loads to Topeka, Dodge City and Indiana.
Broker Games yep..I've dealt with a bad one on this load to dallas outta Phoenix. He sent 3 trucks 🚚 at the same time to pick up this load. Urghh . I was already in the dock and loading when the other two showed up and it caused a cluster fudge
Hi Alice and Martin
I remember watching some videos of theirs sometime back I thought Alice had a green Pete that they had bought 378
yes I had a green Pete. Keyword being had. I sold it last summer
Hey have you ever checked your blood pressure when you have one of your killer headaches? I get maybe a few headaches a year if that, that one was 100% from a bad pillow

Missed the little truck icon.

@@TruckingTogether Being low tech, I didn't realize. Still love your videos. Very informative.
YOU MIGHT THE CHEMICALS IN THAT SODA POP ,THEY WORK GREAT FOR CLEANING THE DRIVWAY !!!!

That's why I always get contact info for shippers and relievers.
shipper does not give out their number, nor can it be found online

What a nice looking truck! That trailer really completes it. Good for you!
Yep, Alice, I agree on I 90, haven't been that way since mid 90's.
Best wishes all.
Great video I do reefer also and dry van but I have noticed that there’s always more BS on the reefer side Van less cash but runs a bit more smoothly
Hey 👋 guys ✌️☮️❤️
Diesel is 7 lbs to the gallon. Thanks for the video
Hey Alice, your truck looks really nice. Drive safely my friend. God bless you.

Safe Travels out there
Good hot morning yall what a way to wake up miss Alice crazy. Lol Mr Martin always cool brother kicking back lol to cool brother

Until the cold snowy winter

I’ve hauled milk from a dairy in Phoenix to Wisconsin. This is what keeps us in business! Lol
It is kinda funny, i have a friend that does nothing but haul milk from that area here in Idaho to Wisconsin.
A buddy of mine runs and lives off I90 in Montana calls I80 the Rookie Highway 😂😂
Good thing about a reefer is it can double as a dry van double duty lol

great to hear about all U'r travels & problems U'r forced to endure! best of luck! great to see all the inspiration to succeed!
Fantastic scenery. What does that say in your sleeper?
High Maintenance (the trucks name)

Thanks for sharing the scenery!!! Great Video 👍👍👋👋
Sumtimez these SHADY BROKERS are DEFINITELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!😬🙄🤯😤😠🤬
Exactly the reason I cut my losses early 2023 and sold truck and reefer. Went back to work and never looked back. Trucking is dying slow death for owner operators.
TONU = Truck Ordered Not Used
Yes! Definitely miss Nick…
6:03. Did something happen to velox 18?
no. he’s just missed on youtube
Wow this is like a movie I saw a long time ago ,, Alice in potato wonderland saying I want to go home ,,,I want to go home,,,
Ran up to Dillon then cut off and went to twin Bridges
Taking Cheese to Wisconsin is like taking Snow to the Eskimos. Been there done that , and my guess is you are going back to Schreiber Foods in De Pere.
yes, but with a location change to GB
Cherry Coke zero sugar is the best
That is some frustrating crap Alice especially on the weekend, time for a backup plan, dump that shipper& broker time is money the truck doesn't make money sitting idle!
Usual reefer BS. Wait here wait there. Always waiting
That. Trucking.
Reefer games.
Glad 2 see U & Mr Martin wrkn 2getter!!!!!!🙌🏾😎👍🏾🇺🇸🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🎯📢📢📢📢📢📢📢📢📽📹🎥📸
Alice, is there a rating or review system for the broker and shipper so that you can let other O/O know not to deal with either?
brokers do that just so you can be onsite and move the load.. that broker definitely has a contract theyre on the verge of losing due to complications ( Just assuming)
My sister who is a cashier at Kwik Star in Marshalltown Iowa said that the only thing she wouldn't recommend is the pizza
The pizza can be hit and miss but our local Kwik trip here has had decent pizza.
Eating while driving is a no no in the UK,
This is why we won the war 😂😂
Alice may I ask what kind d of microwave do you have mine makes alot of noise time for a new one
it’s a Galanz 3 in 1 microwave, it air fry’s and bakes also. Got a WalMart for around $100 last year. They make a larger one and smaller mine is the smaller size.

Guys, maybe its time ro look into being your own brokers? Just a thought
That's what I thought when you took it out of microwave.

They think you can't live with out them
Yes ma'am yalls made for each other ol martins a smart man there going extinct fast lol dang kids washing the lites on his truck there getting younger and younger every day aint they lol
Brokers should be gone outa the trucking business this been going on for over 30 yrs. This why i had my own customers
