It would but you’ll run into the same problem I did at 2.24 A esc / fc stack plus an air unit lite would not have enough headroom for the protek to close properly. I bit the bullet and bought Aio for this build to match with a full size air unit
I'm having a similar problem with my build. I have GepRC Cinelog 35 frame and I also didnt pay attention to the specs and bought SpeedyBee F722 v3 50amp stack. I have a solution that requires me to modify the prop guards. This is going to be interesting.
I’d reco getting an AIO for convenience.. I’m running two Axisflying Argus AIOs currently and they’re solid especially with the competitive price. But if you still wanna try to retrofit the stack I wish you luck man ✌️
I have 100%confidence in 20x20 stacks of good quality. been racing them and chasing planes at full throttle for a bit. No issues whatsoever. Using Hobbywing 20x20 Xrotor Mini 40A esc with Speedy bee F7 Mini 20x20fc that enables bluetooth connection
thanks for the opinion & product recommendation. I guess I'm just caught in the mindset of thinking bigger meaning better, which might not be the case. For sure I'll consider a quality 20x20 stack on my next purchase of goods!
@@PandemicFlaw I just measured The frame is about 27mm protek build height By other items I have 14mm 20x20 stack 10mm vista VTX only If you stack them upwards. It’s very tight. But possible. Sounds like you’ll have very little space between your FC and air unit which introduces heat to the FC. The height of the frame was built with an AIO 25x25 in mind. But you can try to make it work 😬
You'll need to do board allignment, In betaflight, go to the configuration tab, look at the right, there should be board & sensor allignment. Try adding 45 or -45 to 'Yaw'. To check if you've done this correctly, at the setup tab at betaflight, when you move your quad, the image should move mimicing your movements correctly
@@akshayharidas1235 sorry man I tried searching before, I cant find 3d models for the Protek 35 carbon plates. I settled on just buying replacement carbon parts
@@TanFK I'm also in the same prob, so I'm thinking to buy a new one., If you have the frame, will you please design a cad model ?, So it will be helpful to most of the people's.
Awesome idea to fit a 30X30 stack. Will the speedybee f405 stack fit in it?

@@TanFK do you know if a 20x20 stack would fit a caddy vista on top? I’m been doing a little research and I think it should right?

@@TanFK I ended finding the same board I had before from a other website. I got lucky since I got a message from iflight that it got discontinued.
But the fc forward arrow shows straight, you placed it as like aio, is there any problem if we put like this? Will it work normally?
