Is everyone gonna ignore the fact Loki just wanted someone to play with him at the end? 😂😂 Awesome video guys! You have done an awesome job with the fairlaine. Great result!
Great episode Boys. Just a little tip, After your run when you turn up at the time keeping booth always say G'day and Always say thankyou when they hand you your timeslip. It is just a little thing to do, but the Guys doing the Timing are Volunteers. Without People like this these events can't happen. But for Your first event You did a Mega Job. Well Done.
Nathans reaction to the first run and finding out his time is soo funny! was awesome meeting you guys in Mildura and seeing that amazing fuel system setup in person OFFT!
It was a crackup when you got your first time slip , it's like you were having a conversation with yourself " it ran an 11!" "did it run an 11?" "is that what it ran?" Brilliant , well done . Cheers 4 sharing men.
Are we all sitting here watching and completely underestimating just how big a sense of accomplishment you guys have felt? I think so. Couldn’t stop smiling watching this. I’ve been watching since the start and witnessed a milestone for the channel, well, for you guys actually. Super stoked. All the drag challenge videos have a great vibe to them.
Im so excited to see you guys push this car to the 10's, I volunteer out at HPR, I will see it when it happens, good luck guys! Awesome video, thankyou for taking the time to edit it all together, well done for finishing with class. I love the drag racing community, its people and cars. I really enjoy being able to watch builds come out to the track and finally and see the cars run in person, awesome stuff guys!
I found you guys on Holley Sniper search as I’m injecting my Ls Monaro, now I’m kinda addicted to you blokes 🤣🤣🤣 great commonsense backyard shed mechanics! Onya guys keep the awesome content coming!
Great job guys! IMHO you should have just kept on driving with the Power steering pump shot and changed it at the next stop. But what do I know I've never done one of those tours. Yes Thank God for Good People!
Howdy from Canada guys! Great fun! Here where I am the drag strips are all two hours away and only 1/8th mile. Plus 6 moths a year because SNOW! LOL. I'm so jealous! I also see cars where you guys are that aren't even around down here at all any more. We used to have them but they just don't last the harsh weather and rust or if they are saved they become garage queens. For eg I saw a 1973 ish Ford Capri at the track of which 30 years ago I had two of them and rally raced them. But never will you see one here at all anymore. They were under the Mercury name here. Anyway BIG TURBOS BIG FUN!!! ROCK ON GUYS!! Thank you!
Congratulations, its taken over 2 years to get this far, but that time gave you a chance to polish up the finish on the Big Girl. It's not till you see it up close, that how big and how well done everything has been done. It was great to catch up with you all on Friday and Sunday, you're right Nathan, the GoPro footage of the first run was EPIC!! But its a credit to you both, for putting together a well sorted Car. I mean, who wouldn't want to see you go faster, but maybe just go out and enjoy it, just a bit more. Then bring some Page Up Action!! Looking forward to whatever is next, weather its the Gemini, the Red XF or any one of the other Car's you've got. Till the next Drag Challenge, keep safe👍👍
Well done guys! What and awesome outcome for your first outing. I would be interested in seeing the HQ go down the track and compare it to the original numbers from back in the 70's. Keep up the great work!
like they said just do it. yep people can be intimidated by the pros at first but you will soon learn us racers are all good buggers and dont worry about what time you run even if its a 15 second run I guarantee you will love it.
Lol love how Nathan rolls into scrutineering with the exhaust valve open mint 👌. Wait till he discovers that he accidentally said the HQ runs a 4 speed from an EL falcon on the street machine channel.
Well done lads. Watching all the videos I felt like I was right there in the car with you guys. Makes me want to build something and come along for the ride!
Awesome work fellas! A 11 is a long way from a 14.00 sec pass, i recon you need to keep the great work. Not for us or the views but because it makes you happy and gives you a better chance to dial in the old bum dyno!! And yeah, car people are just the best people!!
Hey guys, thanks for sharing your journey. I have wanted to do these events for a long time, your video has definitely given me the push to do it. I have an absolute tonne of questions about it all for you guys!
awesome vid guys. loved the reactions and stoked that you got the drag racing bug like i got the first time I raced and still have 30 years later. Managed to get a couple of mates to finally race their cars this year and they now have the same passion. Deff want to see you do more racing and knock a few more tenths off that time.
Please Bring the fairlane to QLD Warwick / willowbank drag challenge in August. Love watching this car. Have stared building a xh Ute with similar set up to do a drag and drive event because of you guys so thanks heaps for sharing.
Well done guys. It is very nerve wrecking to race for the first time, but after the 1st run its all go after that. Im sure you can get into the 10s easily, some more tuning or engine work, remove some weight, back seat ect and times will come down.
Terrific Video guys I would like to see a bit more of the people you met perhaps some walk arounds of some of the other more humble cars like the other EL you where parked next to .
Great work getting through the weekend. Looks like you had a ball. The XM? ute your mate had, would love to know more about it too. Does he have a socials presence?
Well done fellas, looks like a blast! Spewing I couldn't get up to Heathcote on the Sunday. Don't suppose you'll be bringing the Fairlane to Geelong this Sunday for All Ford Day?
Fantastic effort to get there firstly, run an 11, and finish the event! I watch these type of these events on many US Channels ie Rocky Mountain Race Week, Sick Week) and wondered if a Aussie version would be similar. Certainly looks to be a much better vibe than Friday nights at Calder Park.
Havent finished watching yet. But future reference. Coke bottle cabletied in for an overflow keeps them happy. Have been running same coke bottle for years
59 minutes ! Guys, I have the attention span of a toddler, this will take me 3 weeks to get through 😂 nice job 👍🏻
I have a toddler and a 4 month old. Will take me 6 weeks!
Didn't feel that long at all (its good)
🤣
The look on Nathan’s face during the first run was priceless. Great episode 👍
I came here to write the same thing
Awesome job guys glad that Power steering pump held up and yours got that stickers hopefuly one day I'll be next you yours in my EF on the track
Is everyone gonna ignore the fact Loki just wanted someone to play with him at the end? 😂😂

Great job team Hackshop and it’s good to see pink hair is back in.
The old Fairlane doing exactly what Ford built it for, and exactly what you've built it for!🤘
I found you guys on Holley Sniper search as I’m injecting my Ls Monaro, now I’m kinda addicted to you blokes 🤣🤣🤣 great commonsense backyard shed mechanics! Onya guys keep the awesome content coming!
