The Spirit of London ride is a dark ride located between the history of Madame Tussauds zone and the Marvel Universe Zones. It first opened in 1993. From the comfort of a taxi guests, witness the historical and cultural events that have helped shape London into one of the greatest cities in the world.
Relive Tudor England, see the streets being ravaged by the plague and catch the moment the Great Fire engulfed the city in flames. Emerging from the ashes is Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece, St Paul's Cathedral. Encounter a monumental recreation of Nelson's Column, ahead of arriving in a city at war where the familiar voice of Prime Minister Winston Churchill calls out, rallying the nation.
Roll on the bright lights of the swinging 1960s in Carnaby Street and the vibrant colour of the 80s, before stepping out of your black cab and continuing your journey through the attraction.
Madame Tussauds is a wax museum in London and has a number of smaller museums in other major cities. It was founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud in 1835.
Restrictions
Guests under the height of 0.9m must be accompanied in the same taxi by an adult over the age of 16. Guests between 0.9m and 1.2m must be appropriately supervised (in adjacent taxi or the same taxi)

Looks good shame that the music soundtrack overshadows the narated audio on the ride ....dont know if that is Tussauds fault or just how the vid turned out ..Non the less a great vid!

Thank you, we did say after riding that the narration was a bit quiet. It also didn't help having go pro media mod that had a front facing microphone that picked up more of the music as the narration was coming from behind the camera. We should have, in hindsight, used two cameras one for sound and one for visuals but you can't go back once you ride.
