i did not know they literally sew in each hair like that lmao, that’s some dedication
lmao?
That's how they make professional and theatrical wigs as well. Fastening individual hairs into a mesh cap.
Seggs
Yup they're not using a heated needle though, dunno why the guy said that.
They used to use a lace front wig
"Their hair is washed and styled regularly."
*Cuts to Bruce Willis*
I didn't notice that lol, that's pretty funny
Wax artists when they get a project of a bald person:
Piece of cake!
Make it so.
Yea Bruce Willis says You’re welcome 😊
It means less money for them ☹️
Probably still have to do a bunch of tiny wispy hairs and pores anyway, so it might be about the same amount of work
Dwayne Johnson: What can I say except, you’re welcome!
Now that.......is a lot of work. Hats off to those great hard working artists.
Wow, their skill levels are impressive!!
It’s only a 5 minute video lol that’s not a lot of work
@@datnyga15 i bet i could do it in like 4.5 minutes
@@LemurJackson 3 minutes if I’m actually trying
@@datnyga15 he's talking about the sculpture not the video itself, pretty sure they take hours or days since you have to plan
Kudos to the person who went back in time to measure Einstein’s face.
RIGHT, LMAO!!!
Einstein, knowing the proper math formulas, came forward in time.
@@charlieharper4975 lol
That awkward moment when you don't understand scale. 👀😬
You do know they were doing this WAY before Einstein died, right? Not saying that particular one was, but the technique was used in the Roman days, and probably before. ✌️
Huge huge respect to everyone involved in this process. Especially the sculptor responsible for getting the proper facial measurements
These artists are amazing. I can only imagine how the masters of ancient Rome could create those incredible marble figures, without the advantage of being able to redo any mistake. Sculptors are true artists.
How about the other parts? Its just hands and head
@@Agent-ie3uv “everyone involved in the process”
Omg you made their life and job worthit! I am so happy you think you have the power to be important!
this mans voice is pure nostalgia
🥺👍
True
Science is not available to common people, and it’s a shame. And here we are! Willing to do nothing 🥴🤦♂️
Yes it is I wish they could do more new episodes
I miss it 😪
This makes me want to go to a wax museum and just admire all the hard work everybody involved goes through. The immaculate attention to detail is astonishing to say the least, I could never have the time and patience. Watching these types of videos makes me feel even more grateful that we have so many hard-working people in life
Good for you, grt B8 8/8!😅
If someone were to make a wax figure of me, which will never happen, I would feel honored that they spent so much time making sure my imperfections are as accurately and pristinely imperfect as never before lol the amount of detail on these things is impressive
LOL You and me both. However, it is the imperfections that give it beauty and realism.
I would feel so bad, “you are telling me they had to stare at my ugly mug for hours on end while they got it perfect?”
it can still happen tho
Never See FAT People Wax Figures !!! Too Much Wax Needed !
Friend, God knitted you and all else that you said.
However, just like me, you’re heart is full of sin. God our creator says that the soul who sins shall die, but God is merciful and sent His son (God in human flesh) to die that death we deserve. His name is Jesus and He bore the fullness of God’s wrath so that He or She who repents and believes in Jesus shall die naturally like everyone else, but live eternally with God in perfect fellowship.
The moment you believe in the perfect work of Jesus, you and God will be at peace, and your sins will be forgiven totally.
You’ll be the son or daughter of the very Creator who made you!
Please repent and believe in Jesus, hell is real but so is God’s forgiveness through His Son.
I can barely imagine how much patience you actually need to deliver all that amount of details.
I want to do that so badly
Making Bruce Willis head saves you 4 weeks 😂
LOLLL
Lol
Back in the 50s my mother went to a wax museum and she said that it looked like the mannequins (as she called them) moved from the corner of her eye. Every since she told me this I’ve wanted to go to a wax museum.
You sure she didn’t just go to Robert Redford house?
Maybe "mothers little helper" quaaludes helped the wax figures keep an eye on you. They were all the rage back in the 50's and 60's...lol.
At the end of the day when all workers leave the wax figures walk around and talk to each other.
Talk about a freaky event for anyone there after closing!!
They probably touch each other just to make sure they are waxy.
I wonder what kind of conversations Bruce Willis and Gandhi are having
Except Adolf H., he is painting.
Just imagine how much money you could fit in the
It's obviously not a rushed job. This is something done with patience and time over extended time cycles. Not something a few people clock in and go at it for hours on a daily basis. Usually, my best paintings are the ones I put no time limit or schedule on.
on the "How It's Made" rabbit hole now, and I'm not complaining lol
That was amazing. Such skillful artists. I could watch more on this.
Some of these you can tell are wax figures and some of them literally look like the real person. They’re all good, but some are 99% or 100% exact match to the face.
These artists are wizard of creativity 😁😁😁...I envy them....very realistic..
I think creativity is totally wrong word used here :D
I can’t believe how impeccable and real Bruce Willis is, holy crap!
These people are true artist in every sense of the word..👍
Compared to fake artists on only some sense of the word?
You don't know what your talking about ... at ... all. If you are any kind of an artist you are by definition an artist in every sense of word. Words refer to beings in reality - there's an inextricabal link between words and things. Someone who does any art is an artist FULL STOP. I hate these people acting like some people are true artists and others .. what ... FAKE artists? What would leondardo da vinci say about that? What would Salvador Dali? Do you evem know who those even are or are they ""fake artists" too. Seriously what do you even mean? People on this website need to get real . Or else YOU will be the one who is getting "fake"
@@MothBOYlady I meant they are Artist in their field of work, a canvas Artist is totally different type of Artist. Damn you righteous damn people if you can’t say nice things to others then keep your trap shut.
@@GunsHarleysUSA Sorry I was so mad that day,, my wife died that day. Peace brother ✝️
@@MothBOYlady Apology not needed, been there myself brother. Sorry about your wife.
Super creepy that they're so realistic.
Well they are replicas
In the Graham Norton Show, some actors were shown their wax figures that are displayed, where the replicas are awful!! After watching this video, you sure get perspective on how wonderful these turn out .............as compared to those who do poorly made ones.
4:57 this is best sculpture
Wow, Wow, Wow! Much talented people that does this wax job. I really enjoying watching this channel. Thanks!!
This level human artistry I'm glad to say, is something autonomy will never so easily replace. 👍🏻
majorly wrong. Computers can digitally recreate any human face/body perfectly to create for a mold
@@DannyBPlays And they look like shit, just look at any of the many video games with celebrity face scans.
Computers don't understand our muscle mass like artists do, and 3d models are inherently incapable of replicating mass in their current form.
@@Stroggoii Now they’re not that good, but better models can be much more convincing. Some digital characters do have bone, muscle, and skin layers. It takes a lot of computing power to render them, so they’re not used in things like video games… yet.
Wrong . I’m one of those artists and 3D printing has rendered it obsolete :P
The only thing the computer can’t replicate is the awe inspiring fact that a HUMAN made something that realistic.
I brought my parents to Thailand and tickets to Maddame Tusauds. They didn't really knew what they were up for and thought it was gonna be a boring museum tour. They took selfies with every figure 0 -0
Where did you buy your parents from?
@@ribin1890 😂😂😂
@@ribin1890 probably also from Tussauds 😂
Typing while in upsidedown position
@@ribin1890huh?
I wouldn't need to be immortalized in wax. A rug would do just fine.
Enjoy your retirement, Bruce Willis! My favorite Willis flick is actually The Whole Nine Yards (and sequel - 90s kid who hates 80s movies and music). Certified badass, regardless of generation.
It’s amazing how real they look!
Who loves watching these
I do!
your mom
watching the wax figures or the show?
Einstein is fun to make, just imagine his famous funny face.
Absolutely, and scientifically, fascinating……thank you! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow, what amazing talent these artists have to make these wax figures come to life!! Amazing!!👌
I can’t even begin to imagine what it must feel like to have that kind of talent!
I saw a dummy at Disneyland back in 1967 or 68. It looked real, talked and even moved. The robot technology at the time; being first perfected in Japan I believe, was good enough to make the dummy come to life!
Just What We Need More Dummies ! in This World !!
giant robot!
I wonder how much it would cost to make a wax model of a loved one. This would be an interesting idea for a business. I'm sure it would be super expensive but people would still buy it.
Last I heard, $100k.
MT's in London will take private orders.
Such meticulous detailing!
Incredible attention to detail.
Beautiful work. With so much time, labor, & craftsmanship involved I don't see how the cover the expense to make these. Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day.
_"They then discard the clay sculpture..."_ I cried. 😪
I mean, they reuse the clay. Think about how expensive it would be to buy all that clay each time they made a figure!
They also keep the plaster molds of the face, that way they can make more in the future if necessary
They are truly amazing these waxworks..
Man they're so real looking! No doubt it has to be air conditioned so they don't melt.
2:47 IM FUCKING INVICIBLE
It's amazing how detailed the wax Artists are able to replicate the Person they're sculpting. The subjects look so realistic. It's amazing how call Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger look so lifelike
Fascinating; only wish it was longer!
What I didn't know I needed to see today
When I was in Mexico (Guanajuato) there’s a Museum of wax Characters of Famous People in the History of Mexico. I was in awe looking at all of the Greats then outta nowhere I saw Bruce Willis 😂
The patience and talent is GODLY!
No. It’s just patience and talent.
@@jimbutler1189 unfortunately i didn't ask for YOUR opinion.
i said what i said and still believe it's godly.
but thanks 😊 👌🏽
Stay safe, healthy, & take care. 💙
@@_labacanitaz its not GODLY , and you will hear his and my opnions ! , can thier Artists build you cell by cell inside your body ?
That’s just amazing!
Wow!! They all look so life like, awesome work 👏👏👏👏
She is so good at her work!!!!!
Those are some incredibly talented people doing this! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Knowing AI can’t generate human hands yet, watching humans making such realistic hands is oddly satisfying.
2:18 I could probably hold the funnel without screwing it up.
Not me
I couldn't even do that
That is insane how real those look. When you got to the hands my jaw just about dropped. What an incredible art 🙂
I wish this video was a lot longer. Just Fascinating!!!
I would NOT have the patience to do the hair on these wax figures!!! Kudos to the workers that can take the time to do all that.
Simply amazing!
Wish they would have did a trick on us like having done a side-by-side of a real person and their wax figure and then all of a sudden the real one walks away and gives a wink ;o)
These artists are amazing
Wow! This was so cool to watch.
I always wanted to know how celebrities are made, thanks for this
I appreciate the talent and time it took to make the equipment supporting the results that seem so futuristic and propractical.
great video sharing!
I am sure there is more questions, however I'm sure people don't want to give out those secrets so easily.
through the years 💌
Thank you very much for the program
Wow these people are so talented
The artists and sculptors making these creations are far more gifted than the pop culture subjects they create!!!
Beautiful work
4:30 I have been debating this my whole life. I don't want to ever hear a teacher say that hairs on a head are infinite.
Wow,that episode was great 😊
It's looks so real!
That was cool. I wish all wax museums were this good.
Absolutely satisfying
Amazing skills shine with the craft of wax creations, well done.
Thanks for the video share.
MK
Extremely impressive.
How It's Made: Bruce Willis
When Marlene and David loved each other very much...
Of all these wax figures, when they're at a museum on display, they will be kept inside a display case that is made exclusively with transparent plexiglass and the plexiglass cases are extremely thick and they're also bulletproof. This is because the wax figures take a very long time to complete, some could take even longer to complete and it takes a lot of time and effort. These wax figures are also worth a lot of money, but they're quite fragile and it will be a humongous loss if they get destroyed so it makes sense to have the display cases that they're being put into to be bulletproof.
wow very delicate process 😮
Amazing details
Pete Carsillo is a true master.
Love HOW IT'S MADE
They deserve every dollar they make this is great
Dedication and Patience
Incredible skill.
They look so real, crazy.
Quite the fascinating job!😯
Some of these are much better than others!
this is creepily cool....
What a patience.
It’s amazing what humans can do. O other life on this planet comes close. We truly are special.
that takes a lot of patience wow
Big respect to the people making wax figures but 0:58 is literally terrifying
True artists
Wow.... I want to learn to do this
amazing artist
AMAZING !!!
Incredible!
Luv How It's Made💟💜🧡
So much work for something so creepy and relatively pointless, and that's when it is done well. When it isn't...ugh, that terrifying mix of a motionless stranger with the uncanny valley is something to behold.
And now I want to watch House of Wax again
Same
I remember owning several copies of Madam Tussaud's Wax Figures magazines, awed by the celebrity statues that looked like the actual person.
Incredible...
