I have a question to ask, I have created a flow to get the input from the catalog item to add in the post api ( rest action) how can i retrieve the desired response stored in the output variable of rest, to add its value to another variable in the same catalog item?
This assumes the RITM has already been created. If this is the case then I guess you would need to create a custom action with script to current.variables.x = y to set variable. So you would use the desired output from the REST as input to the new action. Hope that helps.
How about a video showing how to set up a reusable REST connection, with OAUTH. I'm trying to wade through that now and it's a bit confusing with all the ServiceNow bits and pieces.
Curious if you have been able to use the "Toggle scripting for Retry Policy" button to be able to use JS instead of the limited dropdown conditions to come up with a smarter retry policy?
Ahh we can still use our beloved script if we create an action. But agree sometimes UI does get in the way of working at pace for those that have history with legacy workflow on our side 😀
Hey, I was the 1k subscriber! 🙃 Keep up the good work ServiceNerd!

Honestly not tried it yet. Let me know how it went.
@@ServiceNerd it did not go well lol. I still prefer the traditional workflow where i can script all of this instead of being limited by a UI.
